Think it may have been Simon Jordan? But they think that if Arsenal don't win it this year, they will in the next 2-3.

I disagree. I think this will be their best chance because next year United will be even stronger and City will have sorted their small issues out.

It's relentless at the top, Liverpool saw that. But they were lucky no-one else was up there with them and City.

A couple of more years and it'll be Newcastle too.

I recall Harry Redknapp saying we were guaranteed to win something back in 2017 when we were at peak-Poch but it always felt like we had to do it now.

You have no idea how the future will pan out, so you have to seize the opportunity when it presents itself.

Interestingly. Poch had us competing in his second year, and burning out in his 4-5th. We all know why.

Arteta is in his 4th, I do wonder how long he will be able to keep it up.

I’ve given up worrying about them and the title. Just concentrating on us and trying to enjoy us playing for a change. We’re fourth and need to win tomorrow to push us on ahead of Newcastle and with the scousers closing in.

My choice for an upgrade is to change the off-side rule so that a player is offside, only if their entire body is in front of the 2nd last defender.

Yes, that still creates some issues with lines, and line thickness, and the timing of the freeze-frame - but at least at that point, it will be visible that the attacker had a clear advantage, rather than just his big toe.
Personally, I think if you need to draw lines to see if the attacker is offside, he should be onside.

The law was always stated to give the attacker the benefit of the doubt and draw lines at armpits is absolutely ridiculous.

The camera angle available dictates massively whether a player looks onside or offside sometimes though and what you original thought to be an easy decision one way or the other turns out to be off the mark because of the angle you’re given as a viewer

Stand by what I have said previously. Nothing to be worried about re Liverpool. Better teams with better forwards punish them.

Liverpool look as genuinely disastrous at the back as we do. Midfield is pretty average and I don’t think they have the guaranteed goals we do. Salah is past his best, Gakpo is nothing special at all and Nunez fires too many blanks. Not really worried about them just yet tbh
