Every comment Redknapp makes on Sky about Spurs should have "and they sacked my Daddy!" added to it. He is pathetic and should be told to stop banging on. Souness left Spurs because he was "homesick". Poor dear. At least he was happy when he moved to the bright lights of Middlesbrough. What a couple of Jessies.

If I recall Sourness came to us and was so unhappy living down saff he was found crying. he was shipped off up to 'Boro who eventually sold him to the bindippers.

On a side-note, after they pulled Chelsea/Pool I was fully expecting one of them to fumble either ours or Sheffield United's ball, or one of them to knock over the whole set so they could do a re-draw...

Didn't see the draw live so have only seen the clip of Souness' reaction (which is priceless!).

I genuinely think that Souness' clearly expressed desire to pull out a particular tie should be enough to see him disqualified from doing draws again though. I doubt he could actually influence it by himself but simply to preserve any public perception of integrity in the process they can't have a person celebrate picking out a particular team and then immediately stare daggers at his counterpart when his preferred scenario doesn't play out.

Do we even know for certain that Jamie Redknapp made it home last night?

Just shows you, even if this was all trying to be a fix, how fucking stupid both of those mongs are they couldn't even do that right.

I've always thought this draw is the easiest to rig, for a start:

They use cubes! So when all teams are in it you label Arsenal as cube #1 for example, 1 tricky and 4 easyish sides #2-5, the way they mix those cubes there is more chance Arsenal will draw a side #2-5 than the other end of the numbers.

They use cubes so they can manipulate the draw with greater odds i.e try and get a big club away to a minnow or two rival clubs together.

Also i can't remember but is the bottom of the carling cup draw bowl tombola thing see through with a camera on it like the FA cup or not?

Secondly and i think this mostly applies for all draws but why the fuck do they have a rehearsal? A draw shouldn't be rehearsed that is the point of the bloody thing being "random"

Finally FFS people with allegiances to clubs still in the tournaments should be having no part in drawing the balls or cubes or kinder eggs.

P.S Please can someone drop kick Jamie Redknapp in the scrotum.

I always thought Souness was a pretty fair pundit to be honest, he doesn't really act out those Liverpool biase in the way that Lawro or Carragher do.

He did look a tad disappointed at the draw though :)

He's a miserable old **** and clueless to boot. Doesn't merit being on TV in anyway, shape or form.

Laughable paranoia here. As @tiger666 said above, if it was on another forum you'd all rightly be ripping the piss out of this thread.
I don't think it's laughable at all.

Souness put the numbers in the hat, and kept his hand in the hat, he had to be told to remove his hand before drawing a number. That is not paranoia, that is the action of someone cheating. Coupled with the look he gave Redknapp, you have to say the draw isn't what he wanted, or maybe not what he planned.

Is there a video of the full draw? I can't believe the texture on the cube with "1" on it. Were they all like that?
