And they stitched him up in the edit with the 'Have you heard anything from Milan?' line. That whole section made him look a bit of a primadonna.

Rose I think would have been happy to compete with Davies but obviously was upset when Tanganga got the role ahead of him...justifiably? Probably, but he hasn't signed/wasn't offered a new contract, the writing was on the wall.

The problem you have when players aren't signing new contracts then you have to plan for when they/they're gone, it was a massive problem for both Poch and Mourinho.

TA, CE, JV and DR they're the reason we lost Poch, got Mourinho and had a shit season. Now is Levy to blame for not giving them the money they wanted? TA signed a new contract, so not for him, we see in the doco that CE was offered whatever he wanted, so you can't blame Levy there either, JV...the money wasn't the issue but the length of contract and I think we can all agree that giving him more than another year, was probably the right call and DR...well that's tricky, he's obviously a bit bolshy and honest but you can see why a manager doesn't want him around, honestly, I think Walker going to City, earning a bucketload and winning shit, turned his head, I believe he wanted the same and it never came.

Not making those signings in the 3 windows hurt us, Poch losing the confidence of those 4 hurt us and the players thinking about leaving hurt us. That's football, we live and learn and hopefully improve.

Honestly, with the signings we've made and looks like we will be making, I think things will be better this season than last and that's all we can hope for COYS

Just watching the latest episodes now. Feel really sad for Danny Rose, a really good servant and it clearly shows him as not being wanted and marginalised.

He says he hates the January transfer window, but of a difference there as he preceded it by saying you can’t plan for it as it’s usually desperation and rarely bargains

Yeah that was that bit that sent alarm bells off for me - probably a poor choice of words from him, but saying you can’t plan for it (as head of recruitment) is ridiculous!

I'm sorry I can't respect anyone that goes full Karen. Imagine sitting there in front of someone that has won everything and demanding to speak to their boss because he's not picking you

Literally happens at all football clubs, players are entitled to ask why they're not being picked.

yeah but how many players make a veiled threat to go speak to the chairman if they don’t like what they hear from the manager?

in a real life scenario at the office, it’s akin to you not liking feedback from your supervisor so you go and see the CEO or MD. The intent may be fine to seek clarification but it certainly comes across as undermining the authority of your 1-up

That's not entirely what happened though, he straight up said that Jose's picking the wrong defence, and from what we saw it wasn't done politely or with any respect...it was only going to end one way after that.

It depends on the culture of the workplace though, some encourage to go up the chain if you're not getting answers.

I don't see what's wrong with speaking to the chairman, it's what all players do when they're not happy albeit the majority go through their agents, Rose is just outspoken but we know that anyway.

Better having players who want to play rather than sit on their contracts.

Regarding Rose I prefer the man that punches me in the face than the man that stabs me in the back. Good passion, a man that wants to play football.

lloris is a lot more assertive than I thought he was, come away knowing why he is captain.

Lamela is very sweet too, love the guy even more now.

Its the way he went about it though. He is focusing on the performance of others rather than what he can bring to the team or how he has been performing in training.

Like the kid who gets told off by his parents for doing something stupid an excuses it by saying Billy did it too.

I think he asked a very fair question though, how comes other players were being picked when they were as equally as shit as him (which he acknowledges), he was just direct about it which seems to have got people's backs up.

Mourinho’s body language when talking to the head physio was disappointing and a reminder of some of the problems he’s had in the past. Quite manipulative.

I just think he wanted to highlight different treatment of players.

Not sure why JM just didn't tell him he has preferences for how he wants the team to play.

He asked good questions in a rude way and then threw his team mates under the bus. Get rid.
