This probably won’t go down well, and as much as I can’t stand the bloke I thought Klopp took it pretty graciously in his interviews after the PGMOL statement came out.

This is clearly the American owners pushing this with their daft ‘sue for literally anything’ culture.

Agree. Was expecting him to go off on one afterwards but to be fair to him, he handled it pretty well.

Honestly I was kinda disappointed, I was expecting him to fucking explode and start windmilling reporters.

That’s only because he was fined the other month. I think he might be serving a suspended ban too.

Yes, I was mildly disappointed tbh. Was expecting that weird twisted snarl he does that makes him look like a constipated Yorkshire Terrier to come out but nothing. Not a sausage.

Did you read the last paragraph in the official Liverpool statement? It comes from the club.

"In the meantime, we will explore the range of options available, given the clear need for escalation and resolution."

What else would they be thinking of? Suing PGMOL? Retroactively awarding the goal?
Yeah I mean they certainly seem to be after something more then a “sorry we fucked up”. They will be after a replay or changing the result to a draw. No way the PL do it tho because then they would be opening the door for every team disgruntled by a bad referee decision asking for a reply. It would be absolute bedlam.

Didn't they petition to get the CL final replayed against Madrid because Ramos injured Salah? Didn't see the same uproar at the sissoko armpitball

What a loosers haha. Hope we do it again in Anfield but this time both reds come from referee error.

For me VAR is not 100,% accurate but the offside rule doesn't help. Think it should be daylight between forward and defender.

The Kane offside at Southampton is every bit as bad a decision as the pool one yesterday.

Hope Liverpool do try some stupid legal action and it ends up with referees boycotting their games. Make the rest of the season a 19 team PL.

I think it's a combo of him being on a suspended ban from the last rant and getting screwed to a level that it almost becomes comedic.

I don’t think anyone else has mentioned it but did you notice Richarlison rush over to Matip, at the final whiske, to console him for the og. Nice touch by him- a good guy.

The arrogance of that statement is quite something, especially the last paragraph. The refs need to be backed by Webb, it’s fucking aggressive wording, are they suggesting they are going to take legal action against the officials?
We’d expect our own club to put out a similarity worded statement if it had happened to us. The fact is we probably wouldn’t have because we haven’t in the past which I always find disappointing as we come over as too passive and easily abused. I felt we should have made a very strongly worded complaint when we were given 4 consecutive Monday. Night fixtures in the run-in of the season we were chasing Leicester for the title. It gave them an unfair advantage but we just let it pass!
