In the past... We beat Stoke when we'd usually lose that type of game, although Sunderland will actually try and play football... Bent will be desperate to score today, Bassong and Kaboul (presumably) will need to make sure he doesn't get a sniff...

Greetings to all my fellow faithful across the Globe ! How I hate travelling up to the NE of England ! Really nervous over this game, with all our injuries, I am concerned over the midifled. Do we take the risk and put young Jake in the middle, with Luka? or put Niko in the middle with Jake ! Gosh, in 'Arry I trust. I do want to see PAV and CROUCH start this one ... Very pessimistic about today's game. The injuries have decimated our central defence, not to mention our midfield. Bent will be itching to score. Will be very interesting to see the line up today. What a three points it would be if we could grab them. COYS
