What’s happening with Ryan Sessegnon? Got ‘a knock’ in training on September 6th then disappeared completely. He can do without missing all of these matches if he’s ever to make it at at Spurs.

Hugo Markanday's parents must have had a sense of humour to give him all those names!

Markanday starting tonight along with I guess with Gil and Bergwijn not starting tomorrow will mean the best he can hope for is the bench again. On the "extra inch" podcast recently I think Windy mentioned that Markanday should have been given Scarlett's minutes. I for one would love to see him get on and some minutes.

Palace 2-1 up at Arsenal. Well deserved. dominated the game after first 15 mins.
I thought Ben White was supposed to be good. Just backs off almost to his six yard box.

Start a strong team and sub players off if we can get in a comfortable position. There’s no way Kane is tired, he is still getting going.

West Ham will be putting out more or less their strongest side on Thursday.

We need to rotate the entire first team. Leave son at home. I couldn’t careless about this competition and we have a huge game against West Ham Sunday. We need a fresh 11 for it. We have conceded 3 goals in each of the 3 London derbies so far this year. We have 2 wins we need to keep momentum.
If our second team can’t handle the team 6th in the Dutch league it’s embaressing.
gil, lo celso, bergwijn should be a good enough attacking trio.

We will not know until we play him with a good mix of 1st teamers say Son, Ndombele and Lucas together. I am not a fan of this 2nd stream team picking and then moaning when it does not work and then ridiculing the players picked. These so called 2nd teamers never play together like an u23 team does against like for like competition. Younger players should be introduced at one or two at a time with a large contingent of 1st teamers. Only then will we see the quality that they have and their ability to to fit into the 1st team on a regular basis.
I have said the same thing about Scarlett. Let him play with a top notch backing band and concentrate on making his runs and then we can see what he is about. He went off against Mura and Kane came on with Son and Lucas and bagged a hatty. On one hand you could say "there you go, that's the level Dane has to reach" but on the other hand Kane came on fresh with two top notch also fresh team mates!
I am sure Scarlett would have scored at least one goal if he got the chance to play with Lucas and Sonny up top in siilar circumstances. Dele and Bryan took too long on the ball and Scarlett was scuppered in terms of his runs and his prospects of receiving passes. Let's see for sure because it would be ace to have another striker ready to help the first team.

While I agree that this competition isn't the greatest~ getting another win will keep a feel good factor running thru the club and another confidence booster for some who may need it.
Set out a strong team first half and if we are winning, then use all five subs after halftime.
Kane can improve his fitness and keep momentum going into the weekend game.

Yep, to me it's key that Kane starts. Scarlett is a good prospect but he isn't ready yet for such a big game
The ECL isn't the greatest competition, but it's the most important we can realistically win
To me it's bigger than either of the domestic cups, especially considering the amount of ranking points involved

Sums up where we went wrong in the transfer window.
