With Son and Moura we have the tools to emulate Liverpool’s devastating counter attacks. Look at their first yesterday against Watford and how many goals they score from defending a corner. We have already seen a bit of this since Mourinho came in so hopefully it continues. I'd certainly rather have him in the team than not.
I genuinely think we've been one of the best counter attacking teams in the league, maybe even the world, for years. Kane, Son, Lucas, Eriksen (of old) and Alli are all lethal on the break and we've scored some amazing counter attacking goals over the years.

The thing is, under Poch, we never actually set up to play on the counter, we just happened to be great at it when those types of chances came about. Now under Jose it's our primary MO and we can really take advantage of that strength.

I think potentially we have this. But we aren't lethal on the break. We don't convert enough breaks into goals. Liverpool are lethal on the break.

to me this is why Kane is such an unbelievable player. As a classic no.9 we all know his quality, but give him the ball in the middle of the pitch at the start of a counter, with Moura or Son running into space, and his vision and weight of passing is out of this world.

Yeah we could definitely be more clinical. Son and Alli in particular are guilty of wasting extremely good chances. We're still brilliant at creating those types of opportunities though.

People can waste their time doing whatever they want. The thread is (presumably) so that people can say what they'd like to see, although they're also free to say what they think the manager will pick. Wasting time has never been an issue for most on here.
Rhetorical. Not aspersion. Not critical.
