I genuinely think we've been one of the best counter attacking teams in the league, maybe even the world, for years. Kane, Son, Lucas, Eriksen (of old) and Alli are all lethal on the break and we've scored some amazing counter attacking goals over the years.With Son and Moura we have the tools to emulate Liverpool’s devastating counter attacks. Look at their first yesterday against Watford and how many goals they score from defending a corner. We have already seen a bit of this since Mourinho came in so hopefully it continues. I'd certainly rather have him in the team than not.
The thing is, under Poch, we never actually set up to play on the counter, we just happened to be great at it when those types of chances came about. Now under Jose it's our primary MO and we can really take advantage of that strength.
