For me in truth its not about the formation though its intent. Are we aggressive In possession , do we pose a threat, are we trying to pose a threat.

I'm not confident as chelsea were superb against Burnley.

I think we need to go back to the team that has the decent run against city etc! Hugo .... aurier ..... Toby .... dier ..... Davies .... sissoko .... hojbjerg..... ndombele ..... son ..... Vinicius ..... bergwijn.
Obviously with a few changes due to injury but Jose needs to get a settled team again like he did then, he wasn’t changing the prem team too much! Time to stop the tinkering! However who knows if he will ever play aurier again ! But the back line needs major work in the summer

If he doesn't start Vinicius I'm not sure I can sit through the game. We don't have a single player apart from him who can actually hold up the ball and play with their back to goal. Bale could probably do it but I get the feeling he doesn't want to, and I think he'd go missing.

We looked (a bit) better when he came on against Brighton. If Kane is only out for a couple of week then fine, but if all of a sudden he aggravates something and is out for longer we're absolutely fucked if we don't start giving Vinicius some minutes in games which matter.

I want to see a solid and compact 433. I don't like the midfield pivot and number 10 setup because we invariably lose the midfield and Chelsea will butcher us if that happens. Vinicius needs to play so that we have some sort of outlet who will try to hold the ball. Ndombele needs to play alongside PEH, not higher up where he can't influence the game. I'd stick with Rodon. Mourinho needs to do what's right for the team and put Aurier back in.

Well, the players don’t seem to be happy with 3/5 at the back. And I think Hojbjerg’s qualities are diminished in a flat central 2. I’d also like to see us actually try and feed the strikers, I think I saw a stat that we’ve had less touches in the oppo box than any other team this year. That’s criminal with the strike power we have. And that falls at the feet of the midfield. So:

Sissoko in to give the back four more protection next to Hojbjerg again played with reverse fixture when we drew 0-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Having Sissoko next to Hojbjerg, releases Ndombele to be more creative further up the pitch, protecting his energy by not chasing around outnumbered in a central 2, allowing him to last longer for 90 mins, ad being more explosive with the ball and able to feed Son, Dele and Vinicius.
Dele brought in for his goals, and hoping he comes in with a point to prove, and hoping playing him as a forward off of Vini, gives us more options when we attack and hopefully with his movement, and Ndombeles passing and vision, could work well him being one of the front 3.
Vinny in, because, we need a forward playing His height, presence and ability to hold the ball up.

Who cares I know how we will play and I think I know what the result will be . All I ask is play players in their normal position and dont keep chopping and changing hoping things will change . Decide on a formation stick with it and give the players a chance to build some kind of continuity . At the moment the players heads must be in turmoil they dont know who or where they are going to play but they do know its going to be low block defensive . Well if thats the case give the team a chance to blend and be comfortable playing together .
Plus you never know one of the front players may get a goal and we can hold on for a win .Sarcastic I know but for me the truth.
