So Davies is waiting on Liverpool and Schneiderlin is waiting on Arsenal would be my guess from the latest ITK.

Could also be Remy or Lascelles waiting for Arsenal.

Fun times.

My guesses to Grey Fox's ITK, almost definitely completely wrong....

2 bids accepted: Davies, Lascelles

3 other bids made : Schneiderin, Griezmann, young player

Would tie in to the big names bit...

3 bids made for Spurs players: Dawson, Siggy, Naughton.

Spurs players to include Sandro? Virus!!

Perhaps the pertinent aspect of GF's info is regarding the out's because although it is fairly evident that Dawson, Rose and Sigurdsson are surplus to requirements, the other 2/3 isn't clear cut at all.

I hope to goodness Remy isn't firmly on our radar and that the potential 'exciting' inbound is Griezmann who will fill a role beautifully here.

Davies and Schneiderlin seem a lock though.

It feels to me as though all the iTK at the moment is based on the sort of very preliminary activity that may bear hardly any relation to what ends up happening. The identity of the out-goings is probably slightly more reliable of course, there being fewer candidates, but equally unpredictable as to the outcome.

a big name player would have to be the likes of Tevez or Pirlo - Schneiderlin and Griezmann are not yet big.

It's rumoured that Griezmann has a release clause. If that's true, there's no reason why we wouldn't just match it (I think it's £24/25m). There is no way we would get him for cheaper than that.

Griezmann would most certainly count as a big name player. He is one of the most highly regarded talents in the World.

Which is also why we probably don't have a chance.

Griezmann would be a huge coup and on the cusp of being a household name much like James Rodriguez after his Porto move.

Huge talent and would be an absolute star here!

All this talk of griezmann, is the link a genuine strong link or just idle tabloid speculation? I didn't think it was all that realistic? That's not to say if he was the player we wanted we couldn't sign him

Where are people getting the poor attitude thing from for Vertonghen? Is it purely because he looked a bit miserable in some photos?

The latter.

Please @JJetset come out and squash it now. So we can revert back to some kind of reality.

Roughly, yes.

Plus he didn't want to play out of position which has been interpreted as an attitude problem. It could be the opposite of course, a determination to make the maximum contribution he's capable of making by playing where he feels he has most to offer.

You pays your money, you choose the attitude you project onto your player.
