It makes sense to look to Italy though with Baldini on board.

Surely his remit right now is to provide every Serie A club with a list of available players & get himself over there ready to negotiate & do deals, and quickly. Maybe this is where the hint of Soldado going is coming from as he's an obvious player that might be coveted over there being a historically high scoring forward.

Still think Destro is nonsense; at least a couple of sources have cast doubt on that but I guess anything is possible right now.
