I think it was an extension of the Modric to Madrid comment from the Journo. A wave of the ban stick for that could lead to carnage, as you'd need to include the Sahin chatters too.

Maybe a metaphorical wrist slap?

If and that is a big IF Real want Luka from us, then it must only be done in some for of player swap & cash.

There are definitely players there that could improve our squad. I would want Alonso to fill in for Luka's gap. But, I dont think he would leave.

I like not this news. I have no doubts on his expertise in scouting the kerbs of Stamford Hill but players? Maybe once, not no more.

Might be other OM players bid for? Interesting. Remy, Nkoulou, Gignac, Mandanda, the Ayew boys, and Valbuena are probably their biggest names. Nkoulou is a very highly rated CB/DM and The Journalist did mention Spurs are looking for two CBs (Vertonghen and...?). Mandanda as the keeper might be a good shout as well. He's 26ish and been there for a while. Could be looking for his next opportunity, but I haven't read anything about him moving.

I'd snap him up. He's a quality player who can fill more than one role as and when required. Can score goals too. Can't see why not for a season or two.

Whilst not prolific, he does put a shift in and i am suprised Liverpool did not use him as much this season.
