So he stands there rigid neil someone brings him into the city gates before releasing a load of Greek warriors. I've got to say I find this metaphor a little confusing.
works like a Wenger wrist outside a nursery!

Better?

Kuyt is obv a plan B to Remy, does suggest a possible shift in how we play next season.

I think Kuyt is quality, and much undervalued

Hello chaps. Just popped by to say what a bang-up job you are doing on ITK/transfers once again. On SpursOdyssey, there's a thread which is pretty much just copying all your ITK news and posting it there!

I've posted twice on it that this is the place to be for the latest and best in rumours, groomers and late-bloomers...

He barely featured at all this season far too many players ahead of him, plus he’ll feel at home on the High Road.

He`s had some injury problems since he joined Madrid which has restricted his appearances, Seems like Jose rates him highly though, when he has played Jose has been heaping praise on him.

Seem to remember us being linked with Kuyt back when Jol was in charge... Bullet dodged IMO.
We got Berbatov instead, so a good deal all round. Can't see what Kuyt would add to us. Not a free-scoring forward. A hard worker yes, but playing in a position where creativity is more important.

Actually, if I wanted us to take advantage of Liverpool's position at the moment, I would try and get Reina, Skrtel or Enrique in. Reina is coming to the end of his contract and made no secret about him wanting to leave Liverpool.

Kuyt:eek: I thought we were trying to improve the squad, he is hardly a player you would want to bring on when you need a goal?

Said in January I wouldnt have minded Kuyt, Can play up top or out wide which is useful. I know this season his goals have dried up but in previous years he has been good for popping up with goals in the big games.

Plus as everyone knows he works his nuts off each and every game, and quite frankly we could do with a few more players like this.

Dirk 'the face' Benedict.

Dirk 'the face' Kuyt.

Just shows how the same nickname can mean 2 totally different things.

I'm undecided. I like him but he isn't necessarily better than what we have in our first 11, though will improve our subs bench no doubt. He may make Modric stay too, as Luka will no longer be the ugliest player at the club.

Wouldn't be against bringing him in cheaply as a squad player but he is that already at Liverpool so can't see him swapping one bench for another

2 CB's just sounds crazy imo, that may mean we have 11 CB's at one point during this window!!!
Our team for next season

Khumulo
Bassong Kaboul Caulker
Uvini King
Vertonghen Nelson Dawson Gallas
Friedel/New CB

We were, I met him and the entire dutch team at amsterdam airport after they got eliminated from World Cup 2006, I told him to join spurs. I'm glad he didn't listen
