What am I missing - Why is there an urgency to get in Sessegnon in this window. If he wants us why not wait until his contract ends next June or in Jan when Fulham might start to panic about losing out on a fee.

He hardly set the PL alight last year, albeit in a struggling team.

If rose leaves. Don't think he will but I'm guessing that why.

I’m guessing Poch wants to work on and integrate a player who long term is going to be a first team player, probably from the very off. Another season will delay that.

Not sure what just happened but seems like the ITK flood gate has opened. Looks like we're in for a bumpy ride.

Shame about Eriksen but it is what it is and we have to adapt accordingly.

Probably down to the first team being back from our Pre season tour

The club are doing exactly the right thing here by going for Fernandes. They could lose out on two counts, Eriksen leaving and Betis refusing to sell Lo Celso so they need a contingency. It was either go for Dybala or Fernandes, but it looks like Dybala will be too expensive.
It does'nt look like Sessignon will come in either with Fulham demanding too much, so it is imperative we keep Rose for this season hoping we can pick up Sessignon in the January window or next summer when he will be free(ish). He is also injured with a bad hamstring and there is no guarantee of an early comeback.
I don't think you can be too critical of the club like some have been this week because they have had defined targets and obviously have been patient trying to get them and I think they have a value on them and won't overpay.

CE heart is not here. Get rid!

If that’s where he’s at, then I agree with you 100%.. Difficult to judge him by performance or enthusiasm, cos quite often both those things are somewhat lacking anyway! The worry would be us replacing him adequately. GLC & Bruno/Dybala would be a minimum I would think.

You’d think we’d know his heart isn’t in it earlier than a week before the end of the window. Hopefully we’ve had plates spinning for this eventuality hence ramping up the fernandes links. Just shows how much is going on behind the scenes.

If CE goes and Lo Celso + Bruno is the plan then Poch should be very happy. Both players that are 8/10's that score goals from midfield and Fernandes passing ability (weight of pass, etc) is similar to Eriksen's. Would be as close of a like to like replacement as I could imagine.

There doesn't seem to be any news about clubs coming in for Eriksen. Are we trying to replace him before clubs realize that we're desperate?

If he doesn’t sign a new contact he will leave for free next season, or worst case after the english window is closed this season. Means we need to be proactive i guess (hope!)

I'm not sure we'll do it but we should push hard for BF and LC and only sell Eriksen if they're both signed. We'll still have a few weeks to shift Eriksen abroad but Levy wont have much negotiating leverage.

with the last bits of itk it feels a bit like a roller coaster! But that makes sense with the goat info from the Fulham side and Herc suggesting they have been the prob

Part of me feels like this would be my preference now. Just not sure Eriksen wants to be here but I also think it's translating to his football too.

Can't see Eriksen going unless a team switches up their transfer plans though, has been very little talk of any club interested in him all summer.

I was doing so good with getting my work done during this window but today has completely wrecked me. Information overload. I need a smoke.

Good news about Sess. Wanted him for a couple seasons, love to see how he develops under Poch.

I’m with you. Funny how things change

The ITK tells us we will finish the window with Ndombele, Lo Celso, Fernandes and Sessignon ready to play this season with a couple of exciting younger players in for the future, that ought to satisfy us, I'm quite impressed anyway.

Wasn't there previous ITK that CE would only want to leave if it was for RM? If that is true then I can see how it really hampers our ability to bargain because it doesn't seem like RM are actually chomping at the bit for him.
