No it isn't. I have explained this a few times now, and this will hopefullyfingers crossed I won't need to again.

My source is an ex financial director of another PL club who now works with various prominent football based charrities. He is in regular contact with various agents(mostly), players and managers because of his role as a consultant/fixer. All the Saints stuff was coming via someone at Lovrens agency(which is why it's now dried up). The stuff I posted about Hugo a few weeks back came direct from his agent to myself, and this bit about Jan is via someone completely different but a lot closer to home though.

It is very much a case that nearly all I hear will have come via agents etc though(Unless Villa related), and as such there are far better placed people out there(Spurs wise) that pass on stuff regularly than me. I know that sometimes what I hear will be of mixed quality, but I always post how good I believe the info to be.

Ali Z on COYS:
Can spend between £15m - 20 m this summer, there will still be plenty more outgoings at least 3 first team players and 3/4 fringe younger players. Finances are not the issue, wages, squad size and balance are.

Still looking to bring in 3 more for first team and maybe a few younger ones.

Could be wrong, but pretty sure concern over wages is financial.

So if this info is correct our net spend is up to £20m?

That depends on how much Levy gets for whomever leaves. Last year with the Bales sale we were actually pretty balanced. Winter was quiet and until the next actual signing I think we are showing a profit so fat this window.

This is Spurscommunity. You've got more chance of getting a whale up your arse.

The current rate before anything sinks in is about 70k times and fifty six sessions with a decent psychiatrist :D

Say 17 mil for Musach, 23+ for MS and maybe 10-ish for the other player we have to sell another 20+ mill this summer? It sounds like.

If we assume DaviesVorm/Siggy as a wash and Livermore at $8 mil

I'm happier with a new first team CB then another midfielder. Capoue has looked good in preseason and has not really been given a chance here and Sandro was considered one of the best DMs and a Brazil starter before his injury. I don't know if MS brings more to the table than these two but can't think of other teams who have better DMs than we do. Add Paulinho,Erikson,Lamela, Townsend, Lennon,Holtby,Bentalab and don't really see the reason to spend on midfielder. Would much rather strengthen defense, forward line.

This is going to sound ridiculous but we signed an Argentinian manager, and we're about to sign an Argentinian CB. Is it me or does it seem like everything is being done to make Lamela flourish?
That is quite an array of responses to your post.
But I would not be shocked if Levy thought the most important person at the club was Lamela.
