and thus, there is a player that is Poch's first choice for extra depth at CAM that some people might consider 'meh'

as an example. Having said that, I like the shout of Andre Gomes, seems to very much fit as a lot of people consider him 'meh' yet clearly we have retained a long standing interest in him.

I must have missed our interest in Gomes - all I remember is Herc saying we weren't interested - Articles in the press was just Barca trying to get rid.

Think it will be a cm and as someone has already stated. If Pochettino thinks he is first choice then that's up to him and I think he has earnt our trust to believe that.

I sometimes wonder how people fail so badly at the cryptics but then when people fail to interpret simple statements it makes things clearer

Herc explicitly stated the "meh" signing was considered first choice in that position. That literally means that it can't be a backup keeper he's referring to.

He could mention the player by name and people would still guess on who it is
