Hope so, amte. WITH ALL THE RESPECT IN THE WORLD TO JJ, his Tweets are as vague as they are informative. PotL, for the most part, tells us how it is.

We need (imo):

2 midfielders - (no point in getting one, who then gets injured, and we're back to sq 1)
1 centre back - (Vert, Caulk and Kab too similar. Gallas not up to it. Dawson too slow)
1 Left back - (Benny I love you. You need a challenge for your place)
1 striker - (only if Jermaine goes)

Too similar in that they are all quality? I don't really see that Kaboul and Vertonghen are so similar. Vertonghen is a cultured left footed defender, who likes to play the ball out from defence when as Kaboul is a powerhouse of a defender who has really good ability. If the similarity is that they are talented footballers as well as being centre backs then I think we're absolutely fine. I'm trying to think of what kind of alternative style of defender you think we need? Maybe a really pacy, yet physical blocker?

I wanted to rate this funny. But in a very ironic way.

Blue and Yellow.
JJ's tweets:
"We might be in for someone, can't say who, but you'll like him."
"Move now off, AVB doesn't like him/Levy/Chairman moving goalspost/etc. BUT don't worry."
"Things are moving along nicely, stay calm."
"Than didn't work out. Plan B, though. Don't worry."
*yawn*
etc.

PotL recently has been pretty straight.

At the time of writing this, it’s simple. There are lots of targets being discussed, numerous bids going in and various outgoings debated. However the only thing I can guarantee is that there will be deals done at Tottenham before the deadline ends. At this moment in time neither Andre Villas-Boas nor Daniel Levy could say with definite certainty which players will be purchased and in truth it is easier to dismiss players who have been linked. Furthermore with players favouring and holding out for moves to other clubs, things will change on the move of the second-hand. I could personally name a dozen players who I can guarantee Tottenham have made enquiries about but I do not know how genuine those enquiries are how far Tottenham will go in pursuing the individual players.

Now this makes sense. As I was saying last night, we'll make our serious moves on Thursday evening/Friday morning :D

Sorry, did you just say that POTL tells it as it is?????? B&y ring any bells with you? What about dark blue? Something about sunflower seeds and various other "cryptic" clues.

My PotL comment was a bit tongue in cheek. I'm only really talking about this window. JJ's tweets are mind-numbingly boring and vaccuous.

Although I HAVE ALL THE RESPECT IN THE WORLD FOR HIM.

Is that meant to be ITK? I can guarantee you we will put bid in for players as well. Hell I can guarantee you we will at least get one in and shift 2 out!! And that's by not knowing anyone connected to tottenham or any agents etc. Just using pure logic and experience!!

And before I get told off for this I am not trying to bash ITK's ... but seriously... common! My grandmother could predict more than that!!

JJ's tweets are only boring because he's telling us what's actually going on. He's a party pooper because when someone comes on and says "OMG we've had a bit accepted for Leandro!!!!" or POTL says "Pushing hard for Yellow" he knocks it back. And clearly....he knows what he's talking about.

It is boring, but it seems to be very close to the truth.

Personally, I don`t care what itk is the better, All I care about is seeing Spurs move on and up and sign the players that we need, The itk information jungle just confuses everything and roll on Sat when we will know what hand we have been dealt...Mr Levy.....Just do it....NOW!!

"Things are moving. We wanted player-x although that seems to have fallen through, although it may be resurrected. Plan A doesn't seem to have worked out so we're moving on to plan B. You won't be disappointed. Although, of course, some of you might be. We're trying really hard. Daniel is always on the phone but the club won't risk its future on one player. Modric to be done this week. When that money comes in things will move. Probably. Be pateient. It's Levy time. Although "Levy time", of course, depends on other clubs, the market and JESUS."

Who needs ITK? ;)

And those two would probably be Vdv and Modric, With the one in being a winger.....Knowing Spurs..:D

I can see modric going on the last day of the window and us just bringing in a replacement from JJs itk. I can see the logical in levy's "leave it late" approach - but maybe he needs to lower the expectations this season. His got a new guy in charge of coaching affairs and leaving late to give him the squad he wants... I wouldn't fancy being AVB right now, but hopefully that will change come sept 1st!

I think you have JJetset and POTL confused. What you have written is more like POTl than JJetset.

SSN reporting that Ratface is on his way to RM for medical. Couple that with the earlier bid for Will.I.An and we can conclude that Daniel Levys plans are kicking into gear as of now....guessing we will be hearing all sorts of snippets all week as he lines up the pieces.....please let it be a successful Levytime!
