Too much money, not proven in England and I doubt we would get him anywayI'd say Leandro Damiao fits that description better than Sturridge?

Sturridge is prob one of the options for Young World Class striker but you have to look around hard to find someone that matches that description exactly.
'Sturridge is not World Class'.Please dont use the words 'World', 'Sturridge' & 'Class' in the same sentence again. Thank you.
Yeah I agree, Leandro might be the better option but would cost a lot more money and isn't proven in the prem. Also getting Leandro for their asking price would probably mean we wouldn't get Moutinho so we wouldn't get as good a Modric replacement as we would hope.
'Sturridge is not World Class'.
Sell:
Mods: £35m-40m
Buy:
Moutinho: £25m
Leandro: £20-25m?
Are you saying we don't have roughly £10m extra available?
Thinking about it no. But you have to remember we still want Lloris (£15m) If Defoe goes we want 3 strikers although maybe 2 with VDV. Which will leave 1 striker. Remy/Adrian both around £15m, Moutinho £25m, Leandro £22m, Verts £10m, Ade £6m, Lloris £15m, Sig £8m. In:about £100m. I don't see that happening especially how Leandro has made it clear he doesn't want to come anyway.Sell:

I asked JJ on Twitter a while ago about Gio and his problems breaking in to the squad/impressing Harry/attitude problems. He said the problems were both on Gios and Harrys behalf. Whatever that means.
Exactly. Sturridge certainly isn't 'world class' but I'd put him on the list of strikers who are up and coming and might well improve. I wouldn't mind us signing him at all.i agree but not many meet that description. he is miles better than Wreck and Carroll imo

I didnt say anything about signing Remy/Adrian!Thinking about it no. But you have to remember we still want Lloris (£15m) If Defoe goes we want 3 strikers although maybe 2 with VDV. Sturridge is miles better than Welbeck?!? You sure????i agree but not many meet that description. he is miles better than Wreck and Carroll imo
Well we've already spent an estimated £20-£25M on verts, Gylfi and Ade don't forget plus were allegedly looking at Lloris and Adrian if you believe the rumours
And I'd be staggered if we got £35-£40M for Modric
Probably because neither of them have a very good grasp of the English language...............
I think Sturridge is definitely worth a punt, but would they sell him to us unless we let them have Modric?Exactly. Sturridge certainly isn't 'world class' but I'd put him on the list of strikers who are up and coming and might well improve. I wouldn't mind us signing him at all.
Really? How much was you thinking? £25-30m?
