Interesting that FIFA is clearly run by the English media that have such an agenda against Suarez.

Or maybe...just maybe...his twatitude is real and the rest of the world are just starting to see it.

I think it is because they can only ban players for X number of months or years from all football activities and do not posses the direct power to ban him for X amount of games in the PL and UCL

Ah...well fair enough.

It should still be applicable whilst he's actually due to be playing though.

This could be brilliant if he really gets a victim complex and refuses to play for the pool, his value has to of plummeted

This may sound silly, but how exactly are they going to enforce the part where he can't train with the club at all? Pool can sneak him in and train him up behind closed doors, can't they?

I've only seen claims he can't train with Liverpool, can he train with Real Madrid for example? I've seen worse loopholes being abused.

If the ban stands and he stays with Liverpool he will miss:

Southampton
City
Spurs
Villa
West Ham
Everton
West Brom
QPR
Hull

First 6 games are quite difficult, only a bonus for us that he misses those.

Who'd buy him? Wouldn't they wait until January?

Training grounds are hardly the most top secret of complexes. Also why on earth would they risk a longer ban?

I think it's an inhumane punishment to be perfectly honest. 4 months without football. The poor guy will starve to death.

It says official matches, so I take that to mean competitive games (i.e. not friendlies).
