Jay, you seriously reckon we'll go 5 games without a win?

Like, seriously? Three losses in a row? You know Spurs are actually a good team now, right?

The window was only a let-down for the 'Want that one!' brigade.

No it wasn't.

If our squad had remained exactly the same as it was at the start of January I would have been satisfied. It's the depleting of the squad depth that meant that this window was, for me, a let-down.

I think the assumption of some is that this season we've been riding our luck, when in fact we are a damn good side. We are one of the top 3 sides (no fluke) and I think we'll keep playing like it.

See i think games like Newcastle at home will be trickier than people are giving it credit for, but I can still see us winning it.

i think Arsenal and liverpool both have a lot of games where they could slip up there too.

I don`t think the players have that inferiority complex that dogged us away from home for many years, I think the players genuinely believe we are an excellent side...I won`t make a prediction on points per game suffice to say I think we will get a better return than many on here have predicted.

Liverpool 3pts - a game we should be winning. We are better than them, especially with them missing Lucas

Newcastle 3pts - it's at home and they are weaker than when we last played them

Arsenal 1pt - derby game so a draw is always likely

Man U 1pt - I really feel this is our year to do them but I fairness a draw is still a good result

Everton 3pts - We are better than them, we will not underestimate them as City did

Stoke 3pts - they are gash away from home

Chelsea 1pts - again think we can beat them but a draw them more likely result

So I predict 15pts in total, we are a good team that rarely looses. The games against Arsenal, Utd and Chelsea could go either way. We could win them all no doubt, or loose them. So long as we take 3pts or more from them however it is made up we will be looking good.

This is this kind of thread that shows who watches other games and other teams current form, Chelsea are in awful form, my god they played Maluda in the centre of midfield last night. I think people think to much of reputations of a club than the level of their current ability.

Liverpool (a) 3 (Nothing to fear there IMO, Suarez or no Suarez)

Newcastle (h) 3

Arsenal (a) 1

Man U (h) 1 (I want to believe but the shits always pull it off)

Everton (a) 3

Stoke (h) 3

Chelsea (a) 1

15 points there and I think City and Man U will drop points I dont see the gap increasing at all, we are in this to the end. A run of tough games means nothing, yes its a test of character but look at last season we completed it, a great month of football. We are currently a better side and all the rest bar City havent improved in my eyes.

What I want to know is, is it pesimissim from are fans due to the years of false dawns, is it people wanting to say "I told you we would implode", is it safer to think were not going to keep up the level than dare to believe that we will? I dont get it, its actually pissing me off now, and dont say "its realisim" Its really not, on our current form there is no reason to believe we are going to faulter.

I can gaurandamtee you that no Man U fans are thinking or ever have thought this season that they wont win the league. Its time we stopped fucking moaning about Harry, Levy and the players and get behind them, take a look at the table, really look at it, we are fucking THIRD and in pissing distance off 1st. I will say again yes its a tough run of games but its the games we would be playing anyway, one game at a time startign with 3 points on Monday!

I think the Liverpool game is massive. If we lose there I think it could give the players a real knock and they'd have to show some pretty serious character to bounce back from that. If we win then it gives them a huge lift going into a tricky run of games.

I'd actually go as far as to say that the Liverpool game will define our season. City have given us a lifeline by losing to Everton and if we beat Liverpool we're still very much in the title race. Lose to Liverpool and, assuming City have beaten Fulham at home, and we're back out to 8 points and looking down rather than up.

I can understand why some posters are being somewhat pessimistic on the number of points we will obtain from the upcoming fixtures. The reason for this is due to the fact that many are still using the wrong yardstick, of years gone-by, to measure our amazing quality and strength this season.

Many are not yet convinced and lack the belief in our team. I cannot blame them, we have suffered in disappointment on countless times, we have been painstakingly waiting for so many years to be in the healty position we are in now. So many of our faithful Spurs fans, have never experienced any real success and therefore cannot be blamed for the lack of real belief.

Nevertheless, I can see that this Spurs side is so glaringly different and stronger in so many ways, from the Spurs sides of the past years. The most obvious difference is, that contrary to what happened before, this team always seem to stand up and fight-back each time we suffer a slight blip of a defeat.

Therefore, I see that now we have the players who really believe that they are part of a very good solid team and hence they really fear no-one. They are also hungry for success, they also know that they have a very good manager with a lot of experience to guide them through thick and thin.

It's about time we all started to have that same belief in this awesome as well !

probably because theyve just beat city and united at home, and will have the racist back in time for our game

personally i would be hugely disappointed if we didnt get at least a point, our midfield (hopefully VDV is fit) is so superior to their brutes and has beens we should control it, just need clinical finishing on the night
