Wow, he looks outstanding. It'd be great to sign someone like that, but imagine a player like that coming through the ranks.

We (Dinamo) have recently had Modric, Kovacic and now Halilovic (of the "top class" prospects) coming through the ranks. Not bad.

I think our name is mud in Croatia at the moment:cry:
Tough to say, on one hand the Croatian press said we were holding Modric "ransom," and on the other hand, he signed for us and four years later he's playing for Real Madrid.

I think I read somewhere that halilovic's father is a youth coach there or something like that....? Did he have a hand in producing all three of those players? He sounds like the man for us if he did.

Out of curiosity, what would say the going rates are for kovacic and halilovic?

I wrote it in the first post of this thread. :D

No, he's not responsible for producing them, although he does get quite a bit of credit in (Alen) Halilovic's case. :ROFLMAO:

I really don't know how much either would go for now. Kovacic is just breaking into the (senior) NT. They just qualified for the Champions League for the second year in a row. They can afford to wait on him. It may not be long, but it would take something substantial. Last year 10-15m was being quoted. But who knows for sure.

They fought really hard to keep Halilovic (as mentioned in the initial post of this thread). He seems to be coming around and they are fast-tracking him (as I said he should be with the senior Dinamo team by January). I don't think there's any chance of anything being done now (he's 16), but in a couple of years Dinamo won't likely be able to stop him like they did now. But who knows what he could be worth by then.

So basically, I have no idea.

Farkin' 'ell!

It'll scare the mice away.

No.
NO.
You misunderstand. He runs free now...his golden mane flowing in the Spanish Sun...where the rain falls mainly on the plain. Can't you visualise it, that glorious-tassled Modric pony, his handsome rodent-like features sensing the airs of freedom at last. That freedom loving pony pounding across the sand, his mighty thighs pumping like an extra from El Cid. The majestic, beautiful Modric Pony...lover of fredom and loving freedom in the Spanish Spain of Spain Sun and raining, freedom. Run, Luka, run...a Modric Pony like you was never meant to be caged (y)

Good job you said an extra.

There is no way he'd be able to charm Sophia Loren into bed.

Who would want a bizarre old gun-toting lunatic when they would have a wild. golden-maned stallion?

Sophia went riding bareback on that wild, bucking bronco (y)

Meh, Modric is way hotter.

They would have been no Untarnished Knight, who humbled a King and gave a leper to drink from his own hip-flask, or horn (ooooeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr, Matron ), if it wasn't for that powerful, striding, golden-maned, freedom loving lover of freedom, the Modric Pony (y)
