It’s a mess, we want to know why we don’t win things, because of the shit mentality at the top, lack of actions.

no manager, a pointless DoF, star player contract running out, players not giving a fuck and we are going to take a long process for another new manager - it’s an absolutely shambles of a club and that is down to the top of the company, they alone are accountable for this whole mess.

we literally are the club that just gives ammunition to all other clubs for a hammering 😂

businesses don't get judged on customers excitement so it's irrelevant . They get judged on results and levy's results on the footballing side are not good. Thankfully for him neither he or ENIC really care about that
My point was more that it's been decided they were bad decisions in retrospect, when at the time they were logical. It's because we've not won anything that we're searching backwards for the 'problem'. Football's a weird business where success is deemed as the result of logical planning and failure the lack of it, but it's chaotic. Last season Arteta was seen as an aberration that the fans wanted out; this season he's a genius. Last season Rashford wasn't good enough; this season he's world class.

If he sincerely did not care about footballing results, he wouldn't have hired Mourinho and Conte. Come on now.

My problem with the club has been that it's the big boy bastard when it suits it (charging obscene prices, trying to ruin football with the super league) and yet the poor relation when defending its underachievement. I'd rather the club actually be a club that values its community and its history, but to me (and this might be projection) a lot of the issue seems to be that the club's gone the other way of prioritising winning over anything and not succeeded at that. Yet a lot of fans seem to think more of the latter is the way to go, and I just don't get it.

The Paratici debacle is a turning point for me. It seems that Levy was in denial about the risks of continuing with FP who is facing a possible criminal trial over the Prisma investigation, with the location for the trial set to be determined on May 10. Our DOF could be charged with fraud! Yet Levy continued as if none of this was happening. We are facing a PR disaster, and it brings into question Levy's judgement. I don't know what can be done about it but the harm to the club's reputation is going to be difficult to move on from. Levy has depended on his reputation as a shrewd business operator. This now comes into question. So I've reluctantly moved into the "Levy out" camp.

On your point re Mourinho and Conte I think in hindsight (and thats very easy I know) is that they're the cheap options. Yes they are on big wages but the Alterntaive is to go big on players and we know that Levy will never do that. Its why we have Danjuma when he was already an Everton player or that most of the signings have been players seem opportunistic rather than part of a plan.

I had no issue with the super league but I do with the highest ticket prices. The real problem Levy and the club has is that many on here and in the press believed that to win you had to have oil money and now Arsenal are about to prove that what you need is a proper plan and some patience alongside a big spend. There are no excuses now, we are on the same financial footing as Arsenal so unless ENIC develop a football plan they will be shown up as simple collecting their big profits every year.

You know the quote, 'be like a swan, graceful on the surface, but paddling like hell underneath'?

We're the opposite of that. Chaos on the surface with not much happening underneath.

Shortcake is under intense pressure right now but he'll ride it out like a world class rodeo star.

There will be a short period where he tries to right some wrongs or do the popular thing, but IMO it'll all be cosmetic again, there is no way he has an epiphany and suddenly turns into someone who's priority and focus is turning our club into what we (ought to) aspire to be. The main aim will remain the same. The great game of Monopoly.

With the itk from h88 elsewhere, I wonder if this could aid VL in squeezing baldy out? Fully acknowledging that I have no clue if things would be better with her.

The club should have been well prepared for Conte and Paratici going for some time now and yet from the outside it appears that we are totally unprepared for these two scenarios and have no idea what we are doing. Paritici should have been out the door the minute the allegations came to light and we should be waking up this morning to news that he has been fired. I'm genuinely stunned that he's still here and continues to be associated with our club.

The club is (rightfully) being dragged through the mud and those at the top need to get a fucking grip of the situation. The longer this goes on the more damage it is doing. A statement saying they are seeking clarification on Fifas ruling is just pathetic. The only statement that should have been made is that he has been relived of his duties and a full restructure of the footballing operation is being undertaken whilst Stellini and Mason see us through to the end of the season.

I used to be a BSODL but ever since the window of 2018 it's been mistake after mistake with zero signs that they have learned anything at all and have any idea how to run a football club in 2023. Levy's already had chants against him this season and if raises prices further after all this it will get a whole lot worse for him IMO.
