Zzzzzzz.
If brains were money, some people would start off with an overdraft.
Past your bedtime old timer?
Il join you this fucking "must be perfect" attitude is just childish and totally ludicrous.
Must be perfect? Who said that?
I think the thread is about examining how much he's currently contributing to the side.
Yes it was a poor touch but he tried it and also stopped the defender on his back to reach the ball. Hence Gylfi got the goal.he was a bit fortunate with the assist, sigurdsson did very well to take it in.
That's fine not a problem, but a footballer is a human being. He's no different from anyone else. He's lived most of his life in one country, one culture. People are judging him on less than a dozen games at the tip of our sword where everything has changed. I dont care how other fans judge him, personally I don't judge other teams players on anything other than a season. People were judging Siggy saying he wasn't good enough but yet he has scored the most important goals for us this season. Football fans on a whole are fickle, I try to be subjective. He's not playing poorly and he's not playing to the level I have seen him play. If he doesn't start soaring by Christmas il worry, I won't get pulled into the media or fan hype.
I mean if Bobby starts firing them in in a few weeks wot will the moaners say? "Oh that's great, that's wot he's paid for" well I'd say us as fans are to get behind the boys and encourage them not doubt their ability on an incomplete side.
Soldado has been ok, played a major role in our best start in god knows how long. Maybe he is too unselfish when he should be selfish. He may well end up having more assists than goals this season, but if it takes us to where we want to be then I am cool with that.
He is more technical than physical so he can't play alone and needs crosses. When we start playing with wingers he will show up
I really doubt a thread on Spurscommunity is going to influence his contribution to the team.
If he comes good then great. We did pay over £25M for a 28 year old so I guess everyone was expecting to see a bit more than we have. I'm not concerned about the goal scoring. I'm sure that will come. But I don't think he's the right type of striker to play on his own in the premiership. You need power and supreme pace, neither of which he looks to have.
But early days and I'm sure he'll come good.
