Disappointed we're not actually in for M'Vila. Thought he'd be a very good alternative to Sahin - who clearly doesn't fancy us.

I thought this was the other way round. I'm sure Ryan (or someone similar) has said that we'd agreed a deal for Sahin before we pulled the plug as AVB doesn't want Sahin. Ties in with JJ's optimistic posts then having to eat his words.

Sorry for dragging up this again, but I think its important. Ryan clearly believes Sahin is a Levy signing that he is trying to convince AVB to agree to.

That was my first thought. Sahin has been hevaily linked this weekend, but if that is the case, why has Levy allegedly asked for time to sign a replacement before it is officially announced...? Unless, and this is all guesswork, it actually just means tying up other deals (Lloris/Adebayor/Damaio etc) before everyone finds out we have a big wad of spanish cash and adjusts their prices accordingly...
If however, the €32m is just cash, not involving any player, I cannot see that as being realistic, I cannot see Levy back tracking that much over the fee, dependant on the add ons obviously, as lets be honest, any add ons based on success should come to fruition, as they are pretty much bankers to share their domestic cups/league with Barca every season.

So so sorry for rating this post 'dislike' my big fat fingers and stupid iPhone are to blame, certainly not your good post. I will remember your name and lavish you with positive ratings whenever I see you have written anything! Sorry again!!
