I don't know why, but I would be a little disappointed if that's our business done for the window.

It feels a little like when you go 4 or 5 nil up with 20 minutes left but don't score any more. A little disappointing but ultimately a great result.

The best player at Sunderland is not an achievement. They suck.

There are 4 leagues within a league in the PL. Id say Danny Rose is a tier 3/2 player. We need a tier one player.

But don't worry, I'm coming ;)

Lets not forget Benny hasn't gone anywhere yet. We're all clamouring for a LB, Coentrao specifically, but until BAE goes, I don't see another incoming. Best case, we upgrade, worst case we get nobody so Benny stays, not so bad is it. Still one of the better PL LB's.
Same goes for Ade. Best case, we get an upgrade, worst case he stays and we have Ade and Defoe as backup to Soldado. There are worse situations to be in. On his day, handful for anyone.
These two haven't gone yet, and I don't imagine they will either, until we have suitable upgrades lined up.
Hellfire, we haven't sold Bale yet. He can cover LB and CF until then.
Personally I still think it'll be Coentrao plan A, Pereira plan B. Damaio plan A, Rodrigo plan B (I put them that way round as Damaio has been on our radar for so long, but we know Inter can be hard to deal with, whereas Rodrigo as plan B has a buyout clause).
As for this big left field signing, who knows.

Apparently shining on relegated team is, so why isn't it with team that avoided relegation?

is it? Rose is a decent squad player. But he doest have a final ball, rarely takes his man on and generally just makes up the numbers. That said he is comited.

I don't know about the tier system but I'd take Evra, Gibbs, Clichy or Cole over Rose tbh. All are better currently.

Ashley Cole was unbelievably bad last season, Evra had better season after being utter pants season before, but he is showing his age and ManU want to replace. Gibbs is never fit and Clichy has been far from player he was on his Arsenal days. It's no wonder none of these have got even close to being on PFA team of the year past two seasons.

With regards to Grey Fox's ITK I think Arsenal really are going to be disappointed at the end of this window if they're only just starting discussions for big names at this stage. No club will let one of their best players go without some prior warning so they can sound out replacements. The only way they would is if Arsenal offer more money than the player is worth, which won't happen seeing as Wenger's so tight you could sharpen a pencil with his asshole.

Anyone got any thoughts on the 'Levy special' Grey Fox mentioned?

We have had a great window. But we are selling a player for 75 m. I wish flash pricks that think we have money like city would fuck off. I think I want my old spurs back. Chadli isn't even good enough anymore. Go support Chelsea.

So you're saying you'd take Rose over all of them? Fair enough...

Dear o dear! whether we spent 100m or 10m, Rose is not a Tottenham 1st XI player.

Rose is not a Tottenham 1st XI player.

He currently is and has done absolutely nothing on his performances to deserve this slating and scapegoating. Scored even a great goal, but apparently also those UEL performances count more with some players than with others.
