Just got home.

I think Poch made too many changes today and we were nowhere near as fluid as we have been of late. That coupled with a very weak ref and a team out to spoil the play really stopped us doing much of anything. I think we could have played another 45 minutes and not scored.

Good experience for the youngsters.

No you are the spelling police apparently :)

If people are going to insult somebody's intelligence online, they shouldn't type the message like they're riding the sybian, imo. I'm not going to call somebody a "fat fuck" while knocking back lard sandwiches

But by then, we may have reached our target of Champion's League. I don't think the aim was to win stuff, but to progress the team. Winning something would be ideal, but it wasn't to be. I'd rather we had gone through, but I'm happy we haven't got an extra game to play via a draw.
you dont get a trophy for getting top 4 though mate

It has been a generation, 25 years, since we last reached a FA cup final yet alone win it. To say I am gutted is a understatement. Anyone who says this is a blessing is disguise can fuck right off, 'The Game Is About Glory' not finishing 2nd. 3rd or 4th

Playing Thursday was NOT the reason we lost. We just couldn't score whatsoever, whether wasteful or unlucky. I'm not putting this loss down to the Fiorentina game.

Thought we looked disjointed and lacked any real creativity, the goal was a poor one to concede but ultimately we weren't at full strength and with Bentaleb seemingly playing a faux-Dier role, lacked a solid base to build from. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't well and truly pissed off with the result but what's done is done, we definitely need to move on quickly and put this behind us. As an aside, this place gets really unpleasant when we lose, it's akin to a bunch of toddlers dropping their ice-creams.

All I can say is gutted.

Was there any point in beating Leicester in the 4th round replay ? Not in my opinion.

Would have liked those lost Leicester points at home instead. Bugger it, I am very disappointed.

even more gutted after the draw, but the way its going they will change the venue for semi's and final to the emirates, as to make sure they carry on with home draws.

can see it now if they beat Hull then Watford, they will get the winner of the Reading v Palace tie

Or give us a massive opportunity to be focused, well prepared and fit for the 12 cup finals left in the league.
Perhaps

Personally I think going out of both cups in a matter of days would do more harm than good

I'm disappointed to go out today and I really want to see us progress on Thursday

The silver-lining of losing will be what you say, but it's not what I want (merely a way to feel better about the disappointment)
