First 15 mins or so Bentaleb was poor and they were slicing through our midfield like he wasn't there. He's settled down a bit since.
would be surprised if any other player in this match or this weekend has made more interceptions or tackles in one half as he has. its tiring to constantly read please moaning about a simple change of personal will solve it all!!

Shambolic. Poorly coached under a succession of managers in terms of workrate, urgency, movement and organisation. So painfully deficient in so many areas.

Frustrating to watch.

This is depressing.

If this is really the 'Tottenham way', then we need a new identity.

Gutless, predictable, scared.

All of the defending so far has been last ditch.

We need a spark, lennon needs time on the bench, and Adebayor needs an outlet.

Sherwood was happy with the performance at Hull, so he probably thinks we've got everton where we want them. and won't use any subs again.

Playing like a team of strangers, flicks to no one, passes not made, Everton waltzing through the midfield.

Interesting, we looked better just after AVB got sacked and been on a decline since.

That was new manager syndrome

The fact is you won't win anything unless you work collectively. To get a team to do that you need a manager who inspires players, like Martinez, or one who scares them like Fergie. When we're playing shite teams our individual quality often suffices, but against anyone good this season our total lack of leadership or direction has been exposed again and again.

Why does it seem like Lennon never sticks his foot out for the ball? If it's not right to his feet he just says "ah, fuck it" and lets it go. Christ, he did that twice that half.

The regression of our football club continues. We're falling from top 4 challengers like a stone. Being outplayed at home for the nth time this season. Shocking half.

Great game-plan, well organized, you can see how players understand their roles and move into final third and create chances there..
Gotta give it to Everton.
We look clueless.

It's a bit like the horrible terror of a manager at work has been sacked (AVB), a few weeks of euphoria and then you realise that replacing him with your mate from the pub wasn't actually the best idea.

I think this season is over for us in all honesty if we keep playing like this. AVB, Tim Sherwood, I don't think it makes any difference. Players are mediocre but we could be a better team if there is a little more teamwork between our players.
We have better players than Everton. It's the Managers we need being right

Aiiii ai ai... At least we're not behind (god only knows how)

Just can't get hold of it - need a boss in midfield Bentaleb ain't it

Some flashes from Eriksen & Dembele but not enough.

I'd quite fancy seeing Soldado - he won't score- but he can make things happen...
