I think we will have enough at Center Back if we sign Fazio to allow Dawson and Chiriches to go.. That will probably bring in a combined £14 million plus savings of maybe 80k per week in wages..

Going off what happened last season, I think that's taking an optimistic view.

I don't want us to be in a position where Capoue is shunted into defence or Fryers brought in ta very muchly!

He has yet to be matched up against a proper winger. It's early days to state that he could make that rb spot his own.

Can only think we do not want to renew (and/or Kaboul does not) possibly due to injry concerns as usually Levy does not allow a senior player to have less than 2 years on their contract.

Agreed but aged 18

I'd prefer to think of giving him maybe 15 appearances this season - but see how he goes. If he goes well then maybe 30 appearances but hate to put too much pressure on him ny playing him against better teams before he;s ready.

Having said that, he made his preseason debut aged 15 v Brighton and did pretty well, so he could take to the PL like a duck to water if we are lucky

Eh, we said similar things about Vertonghen after the win against United at Old Trafford. CBs are usually CBs for a reason.
