I was against the Olympic Site. To make up the revenue gap, the NDP would be sufficient, providing the debt we took on to develop it was on a par with the debt levels the Gooners took on for the Death Star, c£250m.
The enabling works (flats, supermarket, hotel, museum, cafe's etc) were critical to this.
At £250m, interest levels would be broadly okay to allow us to increase the wage structure.
It is the current intention to get them off the wage bill to free up their wages for players that will improve us.
Most of the players you listed were players that were bought to improve on previous squads (or youngsters worth taking a punt on), so it is more a question of evolution than revolution.
Agreed but why weren't they moved on last summer? Is it because Levy is asking too much?
If we wait until he's shipped them all out then all the best strikers will have been snapped up
