Decent result, considering Watfords form recently, and us being shit right now. Clean sheet away from home as well (thx Gazza!).

But they look a bit rudderless at the moment, and a CF is an absolute must. Looked ok on the break, but finishing, and general hold up play was shocking. No PL goal in the last 3, not good enough.

Pretty much. The intellectual capacity of Dennis Wise ie fuck all.

Insult to Dennis Wise, a big insult. That’s not to say Wise is intellectual at all, or that he even has a fully functioning brain, but Joe Cole makes Wise come across like Stephen Fry.

I know BT like to employ idiots at times ( McManaman and Owen ) but Cole is specialist

Our penalty claim was clear for me. Vertonghens hand was a the same angle as cathcarts. Only difference was one was on the floor.

I personally think that the BT host is shocking - a very very poor presenter

We understandably didn't have much to spend while the stadium was built, and do appear to have a lot more now it is going by the summer window and activity in this one already. But when you look at Poch's transfers, very few were successful. Do you blame Levy for not investing in the squad at the same time as the stadium, or the rest of the staff for the poor way in which the money we did have was spent? I certainly think we could have done better than what we did get which was literally a whole squads worth of players with only three really being considered good enough now:

N'Jie
Stambouli
Janssen
Fazio
N'Koudou
Clarke
Ndombele
Sessegnon
Lo Celso
Yedlin
Aurier
Lopez
Vorm
Gazzaniga
Wimmer
Foyth
Llorente
Wanyama
Sissoko
Sanchez
Lucas
Davies
Trippier
Dier
Alderweireld
Dele
Son

Half of those players like Stambouli looked more like cheap Levy punts than anything else. Our bigger purchases like Son, Sanchez, Lo Celso look to me pretty successful.

Our issue in my view is more that we didnt move players out quick enough and over a 2 year period hardly bought anyone letting the squad go stale. We now need to sell and buy at rapid pace to fix.

Joe Cole is an illiterate fuckwit who genuinely hates us. How he is making a living talking about anything is beyond me.

This is the man, when talking about Fabio Capello's England reign, said "me and the boys were wondering what's going on here. I mean, he don't speak no English."

A cretin.

I met him on holiday once and he was a nice guy. Fucking thick though. One of the most stupid people I’ve ever met. But a nice guy. He hated it that I was spurs though.

I think Dele needs to start on the bench next game and see how a different combination of attacking players work out.

We've tried buying at a rapid pace multiple times before and it's always been totally unsuccesful. We bought in 3 players plus one to be loaned out in summer, and look to be getting 1-3 this window too. I think that's about the right pace, and we just need patience. Rome wasn't built in a day and it can't be rebuilt in a single season either.

Thought we did ok. Was a fairly even game and if lamela had kept his cool a little on some of those shots we would have won. Gedson looked good when he came on. Deeney is an absolutely shocking footballer and I don't know how the ref falls for it every time he throws himself to the ground.

Concerning the midfield we had to play today I honestly don't think a point away at Watford is a bad result but we need to invest heavily in the summer. As for Joe Cole... My budgie talks more sense about football

A lot of neat & tidy players, but a very average side especially with Lucas up front.

Are people really happy about a clean sheet against Watford? Fucking hell how far have we fallen
We are back to being the mid-table team that we were before Poch arrived. All the good work and progress made has been allowed to turn to shit. Problem is some on this community are very protective of ENIC and you can’t say a bad word or question their lack of ambition without getting negged!!

Some are just content that we have had a few seasons finishing above the likes of Liverpool, united and the arse. And we should all just be grateful for that apparently!!

this summers players have been fine. Yes Ndombele has been injury prone but looks great, Lo Celso has been plus for the team and Sess is a very young player with a good future.

We lack a DM and any sort of Kane backup, that has to be fixed quickly.
