That's the Croatia I want to see. Quick on the ball, very good movement, pressing all over the pitch. Great performance.

Modric was class. Absolute class.

Bale was so isolated for much of the match, yet when he got on the ball you had to hold your breath. A couple of really good runs and managed to get off a couple of decent shots. For someone to get so little of the ball (over the 90 mins.) yet to do so much with it is really telling.

It's such a pleasure watching Kompany being brilliant again tonight - Mancini's tinkering has really wrecked him so far this season for City.

Really inconvenient for a lot of fans I would say.

Especially the ones flying back from Poland tonight or tomorrow morning

Might have to leave work at 3.45 pm tomorrow so I am home in time to watch it

I wish the English post match analysis was as good as what we get over here with Brady and Dunphy. Very entertaining, pair of them pointing and shouting at each other, certainly more entertaining than the football :)

That Benteke...only needs a sniff of a chance to score!

Seriously though, quality, quality finish by Kompany.

Here's a video of it kicking off at the Serbia game,

So hang on, a bunch of players are kicking and punching (and according to Pearce, headbutting as well) and the referee sends one player off for kicking the ball away. What a fucking knobend.

Phew, France have given Spain a game in the second half it seems. They've yet to take their chances though
