They were saying that because of the heavy wind and not because of the rain they couldn't close it and they also said the water on the pitch would evaporate once the roof is closed due to the underpitch heating within 30 minutes of the roof closing hence them waiting for the wind to slow down yesterdayThey said the same last night.
Both wanted the roof open the other day when it was either not raining or not raining allot.
Then when there was heavy rain and they were asked again England said for it to be closed and Poland wanted it to stay open.
With Poland having matches on Friday it will be interesting to see how their players take it as well.
Thats if they have managed to close the roof and drain the pitch...
