See, if we were playing great, exciting football, I'd agree with that. But we're not. We're playing very conservative, boring football because it's supposed to be effective. As soon as it stops being effective, like today, I'm out.

If Mourinho was on the touchline nobody would’ve bat an eyelid. Just pure surrender ball. It’s not sustainable to rely on beating teams consistently by countering.

I think people need to calm down. Annoying not to win as we should have done better first half but it’s their cup final don’t forget.

But if this is the level of a cup final, we should be winning comfortably if we are to win anything. We played poorly and so we didn't score, not that they were too good that we defended well.

1. Conte clearly doesn’t trust the squad.
2. conte just doesn’t want to use anyone but Ritchie or bissouma as subs.
3. Whilst Emerson, Davies, Sanchez are playing we will be a poor team.
4. Are front 3 are just not firing, son and Kane are not playing well.
5. It’s 5 subs and we made 1 when we played 3 days ago and play again Saturday
6. We are playing very poorly, the system looks awful it’s not working and quite frankly if this is contes master plan it’s not going to make us a better side.

we are utter shit imo, moyes beat conte tactically. all you have to do is push players onto dier and davies and let them give sanchez the ball. sanchez is miles away from good enough and totally unsuited to the system we are playing. conte had a dreadful game, should have subbed either bissouma or PEH at half time, neither could get around the pitch, bissouma was scared of making a challenge, which was totally his own fault, kulu was probably our best player 2nd half and he took him off to leave on the totally useless son.

When Romero isn't fit Lenglet needs to play too. None of our other CBs are that good under pressure and it allows teams to set up to target Sanchez all the god damn time. You could see them trigger the press every time our other CBs went sidewards to Sanchez

I agree but I get the feeling Conte likes Davies there and Lenglet is back up.

I am so fed up with this type of football. Not really much different to Mourinho football. Our game plan is so negative. I can’t see this winning anything. I can’t see us improving either really because it is so easy to set up against us. West Ham aren’t great slightly worse than us!

As Conte will say, “We have to suffer…” and we are suffering these performances. We haven’t really stamped our authority on anyone this season other than 45 mins against a woeful Southampton side.

Definitely need more creativity in whatever non-Dan James form that comes in.

Played 2 cup finals and haven't lost, so generally ok.
Shouldnt be giving a team like west ham those chances.
Got 24 hours to pull a rabbit out the bag otherwise best we can hope for is a scramble for top 4.

Need at LEAST 2 rabbits out that hat. Cb and cam or at least a box2box cm with genuine attacking talent/flair.

When we are confident and leading by 2 or 3 goals, 3-4-3 is perfect.

But when we are edgy or being swarmed by presses, we are always in the back foot. Conte has to find the tweak fast. This is not really working at the moment to score and lead comfortably.

I‘m hoping with Bissouma and Bentancur they are both very happy in possession that we’ll improve in middle.

Bissouma needs to settle in though.
