Contes system needs good players who can pass. Davies Emerson Sanchez and loris can’t pass and holjberg even gives it away more than he should

You seem to be making the assumption that, if we had two world class wing backs, then Conte's system would work. My considered opinion is that that assumption is bollocks.
Personally feel Conte's system requires 2 world class cbs, 2 world class wingbacks, 2 world class cms who can both shield and create, and sonny kane, kulu and Dier to be on fire for it to truly be consistently successful. Just my opinion tho

Thought bissouma got better as the 2nd half went on. The main problem for us was Davinson being poor in possession and struggling to beat the press. Son was pretty anonymous as well. We need a plan B formation.

I'll take the point. Always a tough game at their place. I'm still feeling positive that we will move up a gear in the coming weeks/months.

The problem with Conte ball is that when the front three aren’t firing fully, the system becomes pedestrian and brittle. It lacks variety and can be readily managed. When the front three are firing, the opposition are typically chasing the game and opening up space, which the forwards, in form, exploit. But when the forwards aren’t doing it, there isn’t enough threat in midfield to compensate. I don’t think it’s a system that will win a league, not a Premier league title- but it’ll grind top four finishes

We ain’t catching Man City, they are a million miles ahead of us. They will have the league won by January. Arsenal haven’t had a test yet, and will drop off. I see us as the second best team in the league but we are miles away from city. Only chance of a trophy this season is a cup.
Second best. Have you watched last 4 games. Squad is thin on ground

What on Earth has happened to Sonny?
Taking Kulu off instead of Sonny really messed us up

When you take everything into consideration it’s a great point tonight.

Bissouma got a silly yellow early as did Sanchez - so wasn’t easy with those 2 walking on eggshells for so long

Tough place to go and a great wake-up call for Bissouma- this isn’t a Mickey Mouse seaside resort with happy clappy atmospheres. Proper introduction of fire tonight for him and lots more of that to come - he’ll only get better

Right, taken a couple of breaths. Conte has his system and clearly isn't going to change it. We don't have the squad - particularly at WB - to implement it properly.

It is what it is. Just have to take the rough with the smooth this season.

I would like Conte and gang to finally instill a ruthlessness and edge to our squad this season though.

Our back 3 are nowhere near elite level in possession, and the midfield 2 get dominated every week.

It's worrying I have to admit. At the moment I am getting Jose and Nuno vibes from this Conte side. We are picking up points, but the performances have been poor and either the performances have to improve, otherwise results WILL start to mirror performances and we will drop lots of points.

End of the summer window, we've not improved the first 11 nearly enough, especially at CB.

Fulham have been far better than us so far this season, Saturday will be tough.
Love all spurs fans and this is coming from a good place but bro this statement is knee-jerky

West Ham are in a false position in the league. They’re a better team now than many give them credit for. They’ll be pushing too 6 again this season.

It’s a point up on last season’s result. I watched Fulham last night and they’re a poor side. If we don’t get a solid win against them I’ll be disappointed.

But seriously, if you have that many world class players, does it matter who your coach is? Fuck me, I'd have a go...
