It goes a little like this. Hate Tottenham first, then their reserve team, follow that up with the U21s, youth team and their canteen staff 5 a side team. Then consider West Ham..."

Rawk: They're lining up, one after the other to win dumbest Internet poster of the year award.

I think Spuds have improved a lot since we played them last Even so, it's fucking annoying how tame Bournemouth were compared to the team at Anfield a couple of weeks ago.

When teams from the lower table face a highly competent defence, they tend to lose confidence early, especially when the opponent scores. Against us, everyone knows they have a chance to score, usually with their first shot on target. So they keep going, even if we are ahead, and Bournemouth were this season's poster child for this confidence.

Spurs should give Pochettino an 8 years contract. If Pardew got it, why not Pochettino

The biggest mistake Utd did last summer was picking Mourinho over him. God knows i was fearing them to try hard to get him.

I'm just hoping he goes to Barca in the summer.

I think the talk of a title race by the commentators I'm hearing is being over egged slightly. As it stands Chelsea can with the title with two games to spare, and probably will. That's not much of a race

Heh thats the advantage we have with Klopp. Pochettino is a good manager, but you never know whether he will stay or go if Real or Barca come calling. With Klopp, he will not be tempted by Real, Barca or PSG

He alreay said he will never manage Barcelona as Espanyol is his team in Catalania. I think he believes in the Spurs project, he has freedom and he is only 45. He will stay with them for a long tome i am afraid.

Lloris, Alder, Possibly Rose, that's it. They are a good defensive unit, but they aren't amazing. Our first choice midfield and attack is superior to theirs, that's why we made them look like a pub team for the majority of the two matches we played them this season. They haven't had any major injuries to many key playes at the same time. How many times has our front 6 and first choice defence played together this season, struggling to make double figures I would guess.

Then in said forum:

Really starting to think that the loss to palace might just have cost us the league title...just cannot see spuds dropping points now no matter how much we say that there gonna bottle it...

As good as Spurs are, teams roll over for them and show no fight, no heart, nothing.

What were we expecting? When the t.v. companies constantly give Spurs the early morning Saturday kick off at home, They are always going to win, Away teams have a dreadful record in the early morning Saturday kick offs.

Another gutless performance against Spurs by a team already on the beach.

We have to be honest, Tottenham looks seriously f**king good. This is league winning form from them at the moment.

United game is an absolute must win, if Tottenham get within 4 points of us after this weekend then they will sense blood in the water.

Spurs look great.

The FA Cup game is gonna be huge next weekend

Need to send them a message

Kane scores.....I'm turning this crap off. Never seen so many teams roll over in front of Spurs. Their back 4 have not been under any pressure for the last several weeks, yet opposition defences part like the red sea...f**king awful.

It feels like some teams are more scared of Spurs than they are of other teams.

On the other hand though, lose it or even draw it, and Spurs look unstoppable at the moment. 3 or 4 goals every game and hardly ever concede.

Why are Liverpool fans sure fuckwits?

Seriously, how do they manage it, it's quite unbelievable how they continuously behave like utter utter clueless bellends.

Perhaps their irrationality is because they misread our love of Son as being for the Sun. Easily done...

*Insert Scouse stereotype here...

From the Dirty Leeds (!)

This might sound strange coming from a fan of 21st Century also-rans Leeds United. But, for all their recent woes and the chaos that characterises life at Elland Road under Bates, GFH and Cellino, Leeds remains a big club. The expectations are still there, the voracious hunger and imperious demand to be up there with the best. At some point, those demands will be met – because the expectations and desire of the fans are what, ultimately, define the size and potential of a football club. Leeds have all that – Tottenham simply don’t. A cursory scan of their Twitter feed, when Spurs capitulated last season, was ample illustration of this.

I was really expecting to find anger, dismay and deep, deep hurt among the Spurs Twitteratti, at the careless throwing away of a once in a lifetime chance. It wasn’t there. I thought too – equally erroneously – that there would be angst and an abiding sense of betrayal. I based this on an empathetic knowledge of how I or most other Leeds supporters would feel – how it would leave us bereft and fuming to see such a rare opportunity passed up. But then – we’re Leeds, and these people were merely Spurs. There’s a big difference…..

I hope they come up, we've put 8 past Stoke this season and their fans are just as ugly but the team is two or three levels above of that buffet of dicks

This is why, more than anything else, I want us to hand that team two thrashings next season. The only black spot of this season (so far) is that capitulation in the first 20 minutes at Anfield, not just because of the result, but because they in their fuckwittery will never accept that we only lost because we made a bad tactical mistake that played into their hands, and are actually much, much better than them.

Don't even know where to start. Yes, they've won the title more recently than us (so have Forest and Villa) but that aside their history is nowhere near ours. 1 more title, but only 2 domestic cups in total compared to our twelve, no European trophies compared to our 3, and more seasons now outside of the premier league than in it.

At least Forest and Villa can point to winning the top prize in Europe when they want to swing their balls about club size compared to ours. Leeds are just a moderately sizeable club from a county that should stick to cricket.

And they keep dipping the chip on their shoulder in gravy...

Soooooo, getting relegated. Not able to compete even at a lower standard, and not getting promoted or likely to get promoted is all part of your cunning plan to dominate English football?

Mate, we've had two of the best seasons in recent memory, playing unbelievable football, scoring shitloads of goals, letting in few, supplying half the England starting 11, all with some very likeable young local lads in the team managed by a humble and likeable chap.

Trophies or no trophies, there's a hell of lot to be optimistic about, so I'm not sure your word of caution is really needed imo.
