Nothing very interesting on RAWK (link) and couldn't find a thread on KUMB.

Very little on Shed End - only this

Santos is going to be good for Spurs in his first season. He'll make them into a dour counter-attacking outfit and they'll destroy teams with Son, Moura and a whole host of Jorge Mendes players from Wolves. He probably won't win anything but he'll make decent cup runs.

This will explode Spurs fans heads.

The following season he will be an utter bust as teams sit back against Spurs and don't allow them to play on the counter-attack.

Basically my round up today suggests:

Liverpool and Man Utd fans reverting to type, saying we'll be back to mid-table and generally acting like experts on a team they can barely spell any players names in.

Chelsea and West Ham don't seem to care.

Arsenal are in much worse position than us. Pre season starts today. Getting out bid by clubs like Villa and Everton. Struggling to hold onto their young players. No euro football at all. Aubameyang is 32 and on ridiculous wages. I can go on.

To be fair, our own fan base can barely spell our players' names!

To add to this I read that City were now interested in Ben White. The reports seemed to jump the gun saying Arsenal had had a bid accepted. I also feel that Juventus will go in for Locatelli in one of those weird loan transfers that happen in Italy.

Although, I suppose no matter what happens Arsenal will win the transfer window as they always do

Ndombelly for £53m, Lo Celso £40m, Sess £25m in the summer before those results... How much more money exactly did he need to spend?
It was absolutely not enough investment after not spending any money the year before and also earning 80mill odd in reaching the Champions League final. The best manager this club has had for as long as i can remember was totally let down by this board/ Daniel Levy and dont forget that.

They "won the window" last summer too, and it didn't work out so well.

It wasn't enough compared to the competition around him we also failed to invest in one particular season

I don't make the rules, seeing how things work to me it's very clear that if you don't invest in the squad the likelihood for success is what continually happens at Spurs to say Chelsea.

It’s not just that, though. We kept multiple players Poch wanted gone & who actually wanted to go. We needed a clear out. Instead, we signed our only 3 players in 24 months. Also, take your disrespect for Ndombele elsewhere. It’s cringe & makes you look like a prick.

I don't think that's true. Poch regularly talked about keeping players for a long time and longevity.

Weren't there stories that Levy told Rose he could go but when Danny went to see Poch, Poch told him he wanted him to stay?
That caused some issues and I got the feeling that Poch got too friendly with some of the players and didn't have the heart (or balls) to tell them to their faces that he wanted them gone.

Several stories like that. Poch talked so openly about wanting to keep players and how important slow integration was and keeping players for a long time that I don't understand where the narrative that he wanted rid of them came from.

Interesting what people in here think about this:

I think it's not worth watching. The kick off podcast is nothing more than fan bias garbage. I haven't watched this but I'd bet my life it was the floppy haired cock knocker of a Chelsea fan who says we won't get top 10.

I tried watching the lasted 2 minutes before switching off. Why do people watch and listen to such garbage?

Not a single one of those bell sniffs knows a thing about football
