Was on the Everton forum. They dont rate us at all, think we play awful football and only have a good front 3 and they don't rate any other player we have weirdly. I hope we spank them badly and bring them back down to earth

We beat them 5 nil a few months ago.

You sure it was the Everton forum and not the SC match thread? ?

  • Euro hangover please spuds
  • You just know Richarlison is going to score 4.
  • This is my fear and then cap it off with a knee slide celebration before kissing the Spurs badge
  • They are going to bum us silly. Lucky if we get a goal, and I see they scoring at least two or three. I'll go 3-0, a goal for whichever of the three world class strikers they decide to start the game with.
  • Really can't see us getting anything from this game as we fold against these lot. Can't help feel like Richy will score as well to add salt to injury. 3-1 Spurs.
  • I don't see us getting anything from this game other than a good thrashing. 4-0
  • Will this be the first match of the season in which an Everton match is decided by more than a single goal? I say no, it won't.
    Spurs 2 - 1 Everton
  • Last season's walloping here was a real low point. Think it was the one where Lampard questioned the players' cojones afterwards. Please do better, Everton.
  • 4-0
  • Tight game but they'll edge it.
  • I would love a really horrible 0-0 with us going 5-4-1 and battling for everything. However I can still only see one result and that’s a Spurs win.
  • Son and Kane on fire, we struggle to score, 3 nil loss.
  • Spurs will knock at least 3 past us
  • Shouldn't be 5-0 this time at least. 2-1 loss.
  • 3-0 them. No answer to Son, Kane, and Richarlison

Realistic bunch ??

  • When a commentator refers to us as a "potential banana skin" for Spurs, you realise how far we've decayed as a cub. Spurs FFS
  • Away at Spurs was always going to be difficult
  • 2-0 flatters Spurs. I thought we were mostly decent. Probably the right result, but I don’t think we deserved to lose by two.
  • We had more clear cut chances than they had.
They cheated a pen and got one when we were going for it.
  • Training game for spurs this
  • Against better sides. Lost to United, Chelsea, Spurs all of who we're not on par with, edged out by penalties and mistakes.
  • Spurs is fair game, however, let's not act like United and Chelsea were anything special. Both have lost to sides below us this season
  • The media wide wankfest of Kane is absolutely nauseating
  • away from home to Spurs a point would have been a great result
  • Wasn't a penalty, Kane bought it and it doesn't get questioned cause of who he plays for.
  • Spurs were not even great today. We made kane look like he had the pace of mbappe.
  • Spurs are neve great mate...doing the minimum every week to win and that's it
  • Clearly Tottenham have gone down the Shankly/Paisley route of recruiting the Ugly Sisters (to go with Citizen Kane - he of the Witch's Hooked Nose) - Perisic, Hojbjerg and Co are every bit as gruesome as Tommy Smith and Co back in the day..

Got to laugh at the old supporters calling our team ugly chestnut when their best player looks like Steptoe and Claire Balding had a kid.

Also, have they not seen Rodrigo Bentancur.

  • Not sure what people see in Romero. Whenever I watch him he looks really rash, overly aggressive and not the best on the ball. This is in a back 3 in a defensive team as well. Imagine if he played in a 4 and on the half way line…
  • Yeah, one of the most overrated CBs in the league. Rash and aggressive
  • I rate him, one of Sp**s best players, and a very, very good defender, for me. One of the best in the division.
  • Sp**s doing another Sp**s here FFS. Amazing how they manage to get away with it through sheer luck. Anyways luck doesn't last forever.
  • Another game another penalty ridiculous
  • that was a complete dive.
  • Dviing pen merchant Kane...
  • No contact with Pickford's hands if you guys noticed. Absolute dive, ref conned
  • Smart from Kane.
  • Never a pen, ffs...why didn't VAR look at that, why I hate that useless biased system.
Sp**s get sooooo much help from officials, that's why it's hilarious that they never achieve anything.
  • see that prick Kane putting away yet another penalty. I hate that **cker
  • Kane flopping special
  • Another Kane penalty, yawn
  • pen merchants
  • VAR didn't look? Where the contact there?
  • I'm sorry but Kane hit Pickford head before he dived. Wtf is this. Even there was contact it's very minimal but I'm not surprised anymore
  • This Spuds team are ****ing BRUTAL to watch. Horrendous ball.
Kane and Son are two of the biggest divers in Europe.
  • You can't rely on poor finishing from oppositions and bullshit penalties forever. Regression to the mean always occurs even if points in the bag never are given back and they'll no doubt significantly outscore their xPTS (at +5 right now, highest in the division bar Bournemouth). But **** will hit the fan eventually for sure, if you're not deserving to beat Everton at home once fixtures get a bit more difficult you're ****ed.
  • Really don't care about them much(this is from a guy who's been raging about the penalty...)
  • hope Utd smash these c***s to smitherenes.
  • they might not even finish in the top 4 if Conte decides to walk out mid season
  • Best start into a PL season by Tottenham - history made by Conte.
  • Kane is one of the games biggest cheats. Pickford doesn’t get a touch on him but he gets the pen.
Seen sky sports saying “ Sp**s have expertly managed this game “ they just forgetting the fact that Everton should of been 2 up at half time?
  • Kane's cheating is something that'll be taught in Academia for years, the f*cker was down the moment he caught sight of the T-Rex armed simpleton.
  • I want them to get smashed at Old Trafford in the same way they did the Emirates.
  • Let's see Kane try to win a penalty at a ground where, historically, they are few & far between for opposition teams
  • Spurs put numbers on the board...
  • Pen every game
  • So far even if they just getting result no matter how awful they are but us City and Sp**s look comfertably ahead of rest of PL teams in first 10 games at least. It's all about consistency now.
Sp**s got 23 from 30 points we could make it 27 from 30 tomorrow and City 26 from 23 tomorrow too.
  • Never a pen but that c0nt Paul Tierney nearly swallowed his whistle in his haste to award it of course. Barely anything said from the commentary about what a soft decision it was too predictably, whist everyone is still banging on about the 50/50 decisions that went our way last weekend.
  • I hate to break it to you lads, but the reason Sp**s keep getting wins is because the rest of the league is at such a poor level this year. Their style is custom made for beating pretty much all the teams outside the top 6. There's no mystery here
  • AM still tells me Conte Sp**s is nothing to worry about

That is some incredible takes from the Arsenal lot. All season they have had dodgy decisions go their way, especially the pen last week. Kane gets taken out by pickford and they claim its a dive lol. Lets not even talk about how much Jesus, Martinelli and especially Saka dive every single game and play act. Their fans really are mouth breathing weirdos.

  • Really hope this ends 0 - 0. Will dent Sp*rs delusions
  • And Sp*rs fans might get an inkling that .... hey? you know what? This ain't gonna be our year again.
  • classic Harry Kane throw himself to the floor when Tottenham are struggling
  • I swear gravity is stronger in North London, these players can't stand up.
  • Kane diving to win a pen. Quelle surprise...
  • If there was a league table for feigning injuries and diving Spurs would probably win something
  • Two teams i cannot stand, one is anti football, the other is a bunch of cheating arseholes
  • don’t know if Conte has sold his soul or something, but seems like Spurs play poorly every week, opposition misses presentable chances, and then nick a win. They surely can’t get away with that all season
  • He just fell over. Unbelievable
  • IT's not as if Pickord-Rex has any arms to reach out and pull him down.
  • Is Harry Kane really all that ? Yes, he has an incredible goal scoring goals record, but let's not pretend he is World class, How many of his goals have been penalties
  • Yes he is that good, as annoying as that is
  • I use to think that, and for the first 2 season he started banging em in I argued constantly with my spurs mate he wasn’t a good player & was overrated. Was massively wrong, I hate the **** but he is a top player
  • 258 clubs goals, 50+ for his Country
Of course he is that good and yes he is World class.
But he plays for Tottenham so some are blinded by their hate of all thing Spurs
  • One point off the top yet they are ridiculously boring to watch. Efficient is probably what I’d call them (amongst other things of course)
Arsenal proved the other week that if you have a right go at Spurs, you will prosper. They won’t win the league...
  • My worst nightmare arsenal and spurs doing very well and in title race and both in Europe aswell .
  • Exactly the same, my life is unbearable with the amount of them lot I have around me.
  • think the all action Conte Spurs will run out of steam later in the season
  • I’d love them too, but Conte wins ****. I was gutted when they signed him.
  • My only hope is that they go all Spursy
  • Kane's very good, but some Tottenham fans seem to think he's on a par with Lewandowski or Haaland and that's laughable.

Red Cafe
  • Why isn’t Son being booked for diving?
  • Should have been.
  • Son falling over again.
  • Son is such a cheating little prick.
  • Kane looks like he's 50
  • It’s said a lot but Son really is a class winger, should have thrown the Sancho money at Spurs.
  • Spurs making hard work of this
  • Tottenham are terrible to watch
    Great cheese board though.
  • Spurs have been living a charmed life in most of their games so far, parking the bus against absolute cack and just about getting away with it.
  • Another undeserved 3 points coming up. How Spurs have so many points this season is a bigger mystery than Stonehenge.
  • Spurs are terrible
  • This is what Conte gives you. Our fanbase would have hated it.
  • Arsenal
Spurs' dangerous front 3 of Kane, Son and Tierney will get the job done second half.
Kane is due his free hit from 12 yards yet.
  • How are Spurs playing? Continuously playing the same team (aside from the fullbacks) every Thurs and Sat will see them drop points from fatigue alone.
  • Think a lack of depth might cost them
  • Kane and his pens. There must be some sort of record with this now
  • Diving twat
  • That’s a dive
  • It was a big time dive. At most a micro contact. But they're always given
  • He is such a cheat, proper made that, but is never called out
  • Kane was already on the way down before contact.
  • Kane saw an opportunity and took it. Cheating ****.
  • Liverpool
Kane played for that penalty. One of the worst cheats in the league.
  • The funny thing is, Spurs won't be in the top 4 at the end of the season, so all this winning while not being great so far is meaningless in the grand scheme
  • Kane already started jumping before a contact was even made
  • Feels like Spurs have had a lot of penalties this season.
  • Only way to keep Kane even remotely in sight of Haaland
  • Another game, another Harry Kane penalty followed by the nauseating fawning from the commentators and reeling off of this number and that. Real stat-padder. Son is the one defenders are really terrified of.
  • You know he has pretty much scored in every game in the PL this season? Not sure how that is stat padding.
  • Kane is an absolute world class striker , silly to try and claim otherwise.
He's pretty snide though with diving and fouls.
  • It’s that simplified way of looking at the game that doesn’t tell the real story. He’s very capable, under certain circumstances, and when those circumstances align, he often fills his boots and ends the season with a good tally. But he’s too often AWOL for both club and country. Has a spell every season where he seems to do feck all for a out 2 or 3 months, and when it comes to the better opponents he has about 10 touches of the ball all game.
A pen tonight, a pen at the Emirates last week again followed by a ‘Harry Kane does it again’, the same in the CL to break his goal drought. Seems that while this stuff is happening, Son is always the one doing the heavy lifting. Kane is there for the 6-1s against Bournemouth and Southampton to get his 4 goals.
  • He's been a world class striker for many years. Crazy post.
  • It's completely bollocks. Like literally nonsense
  • It's not though.

He DOES have periods of being AWOL - he's had a reputation for years of starting a season slowly for instance.

He DOES have games against the top teams where he has about 10 touches - the stats back it up.

He DOES fill his boots against the small teams - this doesn't mean he doesn't score against the big teams but quite often he's lopsided

He DOES get criticsed for his performances for England where he just doesn't do anything - it's in the papers and in the pubs all over the country at times.D

Refute all of that as you please
  • Kane has scored the winning goal in 5/10 game so far.
  • He's also taken 5 penalties... might be some kind of correlation here.
  • they are a very limited side.
  • Spurs are boringly effective
  • One season wonder innit
Mad how Kane is still being doubted after close to a decade of consistent performances
  • think there's every chance we finish above them this season
  • Best start in PL history for both spurs and arse, Chelsea on a new manager bounce. fecking london clubs
  • The disrespect for Kane on the caf is mind warping.
Didnt he win the golden boot and also have the most assists one season? On top of his other accolades from previous seasons.
His goal scoring is up there with the very best. There is a reason City and Pep wanted him.
Reading the caf you'd think Kane was a pub player who comes off the bench for dag & red.

Strange Everton not rating us as even when we were dodgy them at our place was often a comfortable win for us by quite a few goals.

Arsenal fans saying we always get penalties after their Liverpool decisions lol.

Someone needs to tell these morons that just because you’re a keeper doesn’t mean that the only way you can commit a foul is with your arms.
