a complete nightmare.....don't you think Eek

Should have won this game 3,4-0. Gettin very scary at the end....why!!!???

Remind me how many chances they had. It was slightly nervy purely for the fact we didn't take out chances.

We won, thats the main thing, he'll probably put in a great performance against Everton next week if Harry play's him.

Jenas didnt do too badly at all. He dribbled into the box, tackled well at times and his passing was ok.

I'm just amazed that you can start a thread about Jenas when Bentley was so, so, so terrible today.

Not many but it definitely haven't been our best part of the game the last 15 years to win 1-0

I thought he played ok today. He gave away too many balls I agree, but overall his passing was good, workrate was good and he got stuck in. Our midfield looks worse without him imo.

He wasn't geat but he wasn't awful. He ran his socks off if nothing else. The Hudd faded away and Bentley was far more disappointing. Though he managed one good free kick and one good cross he wasn't very good on the whole. Oh well, maybe they'll be world beaters on Thursday.

Not at all. We played good football, and unlike the spurs under Ramos, we looked a goal threat and felt we could have scored another 2 or 3 more.

This for me is the main difference harry seems to have made on the pitch.

The fact we are creating chance after chance is a really positive sign, and providing we take those, we will win a lot of matches.

Its normal for any team to chase a equalizer when your only 1-0 ahead, but the fact is, blackburn created very little..half chances at the most.

Whereas on another day we would have won 4-0, with pavs header having gone in, as well as campbells, and lennon's shot from the edge of the box from which blobbo somehow managed to save via a deflection.

Good showing from the team though, although the result will tell you it was a close contest - we were well and truly all over them.

Jenas was fine - closed down very well in the middle of the park with Huddlestone. Played a couple of beautiful long passes but yes, at times his passing was poor. Bentley was a lot worse.

I thought Bentley was worse too, although he did throw in a few good free kicks. Bentley was horrible in open play, losing the ball and making bad passes.

typical Jenas. Mixed his awfully bad side with moments of pure class.

Some very shaky and silly passing, but he made up a huge amount of ground and was always in the mist of the action.

Then one or two moments he would do something great and create an oppotunity.

We've started winning and some fans are still moaning. Can't please everyone I guess

So, Bentley was SO bad that it made Jenas' performance/effort look decent?...

Now, that is scarry. They were both below standard, and I might even give Bentley the nod due to a couple quality free kicks. Jenas lost possession in the first half about as much in the second half. He ran all right, just with little purpose half the time and chasing down his intercepted pass the other half the time. Great athlete, not a genius footballer IMHO

I thought Jenas did alright, was energetic and got stuck in. He should definantly not be singled out for blame.

But this is what Spurs fans do, moan when we win.

Jenas didn't have a great game but was effective Pressurising and in breaking up their play. Was very unlucky to get booked didn't do much wrong had his shirt pulled then had an arm forcing his head down, his leg held on to and finally had his shorts pulled.

that Keith Andrews pisses me off

who does he think he is?

its a league one player who way out his depth lucky to be in the premiership
dont know why he acted like that

but the way blackburn are going he will be back in the lower leagues soon enough

Jenas was ok - average today. He wasn't great but he got through huge amounts of work and by doing that allowed the Hud a bit of space. Anyone who thinks Jenas was bad today is just plain wrong.

Agree that Bently was worse and had a bad game but remember he was played on the left for most of the game when his natural position is the right.

Oh by the way we did win today didn't we or am I missing something......they must have brought the teams back after the final whistle and we then managed to lose from what some people are saying?

he was a bit shit but i think he redeemed himself when that guy tried to provoke him and he didn't take any shit.. if he becomes a deeplying midfield sweeper/cleaner and general tough guy i can have no probs with that

c'mon jenas, fu** 'av it!

he constantly gave away the ball and puts us under pressure
he has amazing pace but always seems to never use it ! when he does he can be effective but personally i hope we replace him because after 3 seasons its obvious this guy aint good enough to play at the top level and if we want to move on we need to find a replacement that is a strong skillfull centre mid !!!

Off the ball he was excellent, on the ball he was poor.

Paul. I remember having a few heated debates with you about how you thought Lennon was shit and we desperately needed Bentley, what's your opinion so far this season?

Honestly? So far this season mate i gotta hold my hands up. Bentley has been dissapointing to say the least for me and Lennon is starting to look like the kind of player who burst onto the scene a few years back.

So yea SO far ill admit i was wrong (there i said it!! Thats worth rep on its own!).

Lennon was superb today.....but thats for another thread
