Everyone played well tonight, but the last two matches this lad has come on and done his part.
Was fantastic tonight, breaking play up and wanting to be involved. He is what we hoped Palacios would be.

Can see him being in our CM for years to come. Hudd will have to work hard to get back into the team as Sandro seems to be pushing for the starting roll.

This.

He tends to give away free kicks too easily but has been absolutely fantastic.

He is some signing, an absolute snip. Not only is he going to be a fantastic DM, he's also intelligent and creative. That little dink out of defence to Modric was what set off the move that led to our goal.

Not bad for his first European game, eh? Very, very fine signing.

He was immense tonight along with everyone else. Could be like a new signing!

I thought he was MOM, composed and covered a lot of ground. I remember Sherwood saying in an interview he was like Viera, and to be honest today him and Palacios were different gravy !!!

He is pretty reckless when challenging from behind and can give away stupid fouls. I guess most DMs do this, but he needs to pick his spots better. Played very well though.

He's improved with every minute that he's played.

Tonight was only a glimpse of what is to come!

Was immense tonight again, fair play to the lad. Only 21 & tough adjusting to new country, league etc looks a player

Palacios and Sandro owned the midfield today, I didn't think they would play well together , biut they were perfect for this game

Finally we're beginning to see the player we all hoped that we'd signed during the close season. What a game to rise to the occasion in, and rise he did. Excellent, and his partnership with Wilson was IMHO perfect. The last ditch tackle he did close to our goal was exquisitely timed and executed. Well done Sandro, well done indeedy.

Actually, he's what I hoped he would be, given the glowing testimonials from those who'd actually watched him for Internacional. And come on, let's not do Palacios down because he lacks the creative ability Sandro's started to show.

We have some midfield now.

Thought those two in the middle was going to be an unmitigated disaster tonight. Very happy to be proved utterly wrong. Impressive composure from one so new to the side.

What on earth do you do for Blackpool now? Luka comes back in surely, but how do you drop either Sandro or Wilson? Plus JJ is back, let alone THudd in a few weeks.
