Not ready for a first team regular place.

Will he develop and improve enough to hold one down in the future? God knows.

Personally I have absolutely no doubt he will make it if he gets a decent run of games. I saw a lot of him in Brasil and he was excellent. He might need time, but it is very difficult for him to adapt to the pace of the English game if he isn't actually playing.

It's always a bit of a dilemma this. Do we use our matches to allow people to get up to speed? Could be a bit risky when we already have players who are up the speed of the game in England, but at the same time if we don't do it then he'll never develop.

I think he should be given some more chances against the 'lesser' teams. A game like Man Utd at home for example certainly isn't the time to see if he's up to the pace of the game yet or not.

If Walker merits going on loan in the Premier League, I'd think Sandro would be the same. Both bags of potential and need games at this level but too risky and not necessary to play them regularly ourselves. The only difference is that Sandro is still adjusting to life in London. Maybe Sparky could take him at Fulham? That'd be good for all, you'd think.

I was thinking that as well but with Palacios being a bit hit and miss this season, Huddlestone still out and JJ having a few injury problems as well can we afford to let him go?

Said the guy who has been absolutely nothing but aggressive towards me for years on here.

Yeah, me thinking Sandro is in danger of being a young talented player that never makes it at Spurs is suuuuuch a wind up.

I am very interested in Sandro. I have started threads on him in the past.

How about you discuss the subject? And drop your vendetta. It is people like you who subvert threads.

Lol.

Sell JJ and give Sandro as many 20minutes as we can at the end of games until he is truly settled, then try starting him with either Modric or Hudd (give Bale a rest and put Modders out Left again)

To be fair JJ has put in some good performances this season.

Yeah, good point. I guess it might depend on JOH: Is he fit for 1st team? Is he wanted? Is his experience in the league likely to be more useful over the business end of the season than Sandro?

Good points.

The JOH situation puzzles me a bit at the moment. Firstly of course he's got to get fit again but then what?

He doesn't want to sit on our bench but agreeing with your point above I still think he can do a job for us. He's consistent, a battler and I think has good ability.

It's a good idea but I think Fulham have one of the leagues most underrated busy ****'s in Etuhu, and have also now signed Sidwell.

Everyone played well tonight, but the last two matches this lad has come on and done his part.
Was fantastic tonight, breaking play up and wanting to be involved. He is what we hoped Palacios would be.

Can see him being in our CM for years to come. Hudd will have to work hard to get back into the team as Sandro seems to be pushing for the starting roll.

He is some signing, an absolute snip. Not only is he going to be a fantastic DM, he's also intelligent and creative. That little dink out of defence to Modric was what set off the move that led to our goal.

Forget Diarra now, don't need him, Sandro has been immense, last 2 games have been like watching Vieira at his peak
