Nothing he's said is any worse than some of the shit a lot of you talk every day, and in this very thread in fact. Why should you all be allowed to sling shit at him, day in, day out, without him chucking a bit back once in a while? I think a lot of you are incredibly ungrateful and don't seem to realise what Harry has achieved in the time he's been here - if anything, qualifying for the CL and going as far as we did was punching far above our weight. I expected the slow building of a squad that would eventually be in a position to regularly threaten the top four. If Liverpool hadn't had such a shit season last year then we'd not have finished fourth. If Citeh had managed to keep us shut out then we'd not even have finished fifth. We benefitted from other teams shortcomings, combined with the hard work of our squad at the time, yet too many of you don't seem to realise that.

Granted, he's made mistakes, but so has Wenger, so has Ferguson, Moyes, Mankini and others, but i think the stick he gets on here every single day is unfair most of the time and the only way he can answer his critics is in the media as, even if he did come and post on here, it would be picked up by the press and splashed around, quoted out of context and generally made no difference to the way things are right now.

I'm proud of many of the results the club have managed this year, and, despite not making champions league, maybe not even Europa, when it came down to it we were there or thereabouts. We've identified where we're weak, in positions where we really didn't expect to be at the start of the season, but we have the basics of a very solid squad, able to grind out results against teams when required, but we just need to get someone in who can hit the net more often, and possibly consider a keeper who doesn't take drugs

Its a results business, but I still think we should stick with Harry for one more year. The guy has brought more success to our club than anybody has for the last few decades so surely he deserves that much. The only problem I have is Harry's denial of our bad form and that we haven't played very well for a long time (excluding 2nd half v Arsenal and Man City). I have a feeling everybody would not be so negative if he came out and acknowledged that and said he was trying everything to rectify the situation.

Harry should shut up. The results since Milan away speak for themselves and anyone who cannot see that, including our manager, is an idiot.

Dear next man in charge

It doesn't really matter who we get to manage the club, you should be aware that the success must be instant, constant and done in a certain way. 4th place is a minimum. Anything less and lets get the **** out.

Also, we'll only tolerate finishing 4th two season running. If the third season doesn't end in us finishing 3rd or better, lets get the **** out, he's taken us as far as he can. Or is tactically inept.

If the man in charge says something to the press, lets get the **** out. In fact, any sort of mistake and lets get the **** out.

We either turn into Manchester United overnight or lets get the **** out. In fact, if we won three league titles on the spin and finished 2nd the following year, it'd be lets get the **** out.

It's traditional.

If we go on any sort of unsatisfactory run the solution is to change the manager. Every time. I mean, look where it's got us.

I'm disappointed with how the season turned out, we could have done so much better. Will you learn from your mistakes? Will Levy learn from his? Will the players? Fuck that..........I couldn't care less. All that matters is that i'm disappointed and must vent my fury. I have no cat to kick, the wife will hit me back.

So............Lets get the **** out.

Just so you know where you stand.

Got to say I agree with him, the Redknapp out brigade are for the most part idiots. The vast majority of Spurs fans will continue to support him and appreciate the contribution he has made for are club, which has far surpassed the achievements of any manager in recent history

Firstly it isn't particularly difficult to surpass the achievements of recent managers, as for two decades we've being shocking. I'm also convinced that the current squad with the exception of our strikers is by far the best and most valuable we've had for years. Any half decent manager would have achieved what Redknapp's achieved and then continued to improve. Instead we have a chancer with a pea size brain who revels in self promotion destroying the professional and respected name our club has.

I too am inclined to agree with Harry.

Things haven't gone right this season for sure, but we've had a hell of a lot of injuries, many to key players, Dawson, Defoe, King, Charlie, Palacios, Thudd, Bale, fuck me, even Benni went down with an injury this year.

That's quite a huge chunk of players, especially when you consider that they were pretty much ever present in the season which got us into the Champions League, even Ledley made a sizeable number of cameos. Then factor in niggling injuries to Rafa and Billy, which have meant that they've been playing below capacity out of necessity for a sizeable chunk of the season.

We've also had some horrendous decisions go against us recently. If the laws of the game had been applied in both the match against Chelsea and Blackpool, we won the matches comfortably and are 5 points better off than we are now, and who knows what a difference that could have made on Tuesday night.

I can't help thinking that there has been a little lack of perspective regarding our seasons performance.

Nobody is denying that Harry's made mistakes, his treatment of Krankie is mystifying, the signing of Pienaar equally so, and the transfer window was a mockery, but seriously, is that worth condemning him for when he's achieved so much for/with us already in a comparatively short space of time?

Personally, I think not.

Have we had more injuries than could be expected (not counting King and Woodgate)?

Against Chelsea and Blackpool were the victims of some very poor and game changing decisions but shouldn't mask the fact that by those games we were already in a very poor run, for which Redknapp must take some responsibility.

'Arry has his eye on the England job, and that in itself is good enough reason for moving him on should a good long-term replacement become available. I would like Levy to try for Moyes or Lambert.

As for 'Arry's comments they do seem rather silly on his part. Much of the criticism he has received is over-the-top, but his best option would be to keep stum and ignore it. Another error in judgement on his part IMHO.

I'm just surprised people have only just begun thinking he hates Spurs fans.

He always has. He likes Levy, he likes the job, he might even find the "club" acceptable. But he hates the fans and always has.

Feel free to Google his remarks about us during the Sol Campbell unpleasantness a few years ago. He has been completely consistent in his lack of anything approaching positivity for our support too. Dalglish, Ferguson, Wenger, every other manager I know talks frequently about their fans. I've never known Redknapp do it.

Whether it matters, I'm not entirely sure. In fact, whether he's justified you could probably argue on both sides. But either way, he really doesn't like us.

I'm sick of his constant, and it is constant now, denigration of the fans.

You know what Harry, we'll be here in 2 years, 5 years, 10 years...the rest of our lives. He can't wait to sling his hook for the England job now he's put the icing on his CV. I can't wait either.

And you know what, i'd be fine by him staying for as long as possible if it weren't for the constant pops he's taking at the fans.

Right here goes...... WE WANT REDKNAPP OUT. For you boys going up to anfield tomorrow, I want to hear this. That would really hurt is ego and put him in his place. He has failed this season and should get the chop anyway IMO what he keeps saying about the fans should be the final nail in his coffin. What a grade a ****!

Even the people who phone in to five live are smart enough to know that we should have bought Suarez in the window.

Anyone else think he is preparing the ground to step down?

I'm convinced he will be off after next week.

He will defend his case, if he wins he'll be England manager, if not then who knows.

I get the feeling that there is something amiss as we're hearing even more of his inane, self-advertising drivel than usual.

Disliked Redknapp from the time I first heard of him and nothing has changed in his actions, behaviour in 30 years

A different situation but does anyone think if we had been the ones lifting the FA Cup today this is something we would have heard from our manager:

Bob Mancini said:
"I'm happy for the supporters. For a long time they didn't win. My feeling is good but it is more important that their feeling is good."

I think I'll be tempted to turn up at the B'ham game wearing water-wings and a safety helmet.
