ITK? Source?

Yep, very much ITK... I saw it with my own eyes! The boy's got a great batting talent!

He eased to a 50 with no problems, playing beautifully. He was unlucky to be run out as the non-striker in one of those moments when the bowler tries to field a shot, and it hits the stumps at the bowler's end and runs out the batsman at the non-striking end.

He would have gone on to score a massive 150-180 would have been my guess. He was very good.

My boys Glamorgan on the other hand are shocking. Don't bother!

Highlight of the day for me was pissing in the bogs right next to 2005 Ashes hero Simon Jones! He bowled like a complete amateur today though, a shadow of his former self sadly.

Care to share?

What I meant is that If Levy could sign a player for £25 mil who he was confident wouldn't depreciate in value he'd do it no problem. He's a businessman and it's an investment.

Rebrab said exactly the same thing recently didn't he Rob? Something about we could afford almost anybody who we thought we could later sell for a profit. Actually that makes us sound like a selling club which I'm sure wasn't the intention.

This is awkward to explain.

QUOTE “don’t like dealing with Tottenham not as easy as dealing with Wigan.”

Hutton, Jenas and Crouch deal for £15million is OFF (for now). Couldn’t agree fee with Tottenham and refused to pay Crouch and Jenas £40k per week. McLeish really wanted Jenas.
BUT Robbie Keane’s agent has since contacted Villa, trying to get him a deal. He told Villa that Tottenham will sell at cut price and he has permission to negotiate a deal. Keane will take pay cut but Villa prepared to offer higher wages than they were willing to for crouch and Jenas because of the price.
AGENT of Keane (unusual) went back to Tottenham with offer for Keane and Hutton for under £10million based on what agent had said and talks the two clubs had had earlier regarding Hutton. Tottenham considering offer.

McLeish back tonight/early morning but has already agreed the deal in principle. McLeish slightly unhappy he wanted transfers sorted by time he got back. I expect once he’s back it will sort it.

To be honest, I’ve never been so confused. The way both clubs are communicating is ridiculous. I’ve been told that at some point Bentley was mentioned to Tottenham but that’s a no go for McLeish. The only way I could summarise is that Tottenham and Villa are in communication and that I still expect to see a couple (who?) of Spurs players by the end of the week.

On a positive note; as I said last week. Diarra done.

Might be worth keeping tags on Arnold Oosterveer this week.

Cheers Journo! In light of Defoe's comments about being willing to go out on loan to get game time the KJH info is starting to make more sense. Can't say he'd be my number one target, but as a direct replacement for Defoe I'd be quite happy.

Yeah, that guy freaked me out. What the f...?!?!

Well... I just watched Glamorgan play like complete amateurs against an excellent Notts team!

If anyone likes cricket watch out for Notts batsman Alex Hales, I was very impressed with him. Good young prospect/future England international I'd say!

off topic [sorry] - i was there too mate. class act isnt he!

If the journo is right 10m for Keane and Hutton is an excellent deal for us despite the fact Levy will be making a 14m loss on the pair. We would also be saving about 5m next year in wages alone

Would be a good deal...4 million for Keane, 6 for Hutton probably...good deal anyway whatever the breakdown.

There simply has to be movement going out this week - I cant take another week of making zero progress on that front.

I'm actually getting the feeling that I have in the last few windows, that we are not going to sign a forward. It late now, the season starts in under 2 weeks and we have huge games between the start an Sept 1st.

My biggest worry that Levy is waiting for a deadline day deal and by then we could have lost to Everton, been thumped by United and be on a bit of a downer.

We are supposed to be showing ambition and we are doing fuck all. It's just annoying that we still get our hopes up.

Destined to be nearly men, we have needed a good forward for 2 years and still the club fucks about.
