hes awful in the transfer market(saha, nelsen when we were 3rd). He was offered sorts of players and wanted none of them.

If he gets champions league he gets to see out the last year of his contract otherwise buy him out.. Get a sporting director that will sign some decent players again

I see the Chelsea speculation has started up again tonight, a source close to RA claiming Harry is on his short list!

You couldn't make this shit up, not even 24 hours since Hodgson being approached for England and the media are like....next!

Get the next two weeks out of the way, then Levy has a big decision to make. One thing is for sure, if Harry is to stay he needs to totally commit and dismiss all other speculation instantly and emphaitically.

No to that and its jog on IMO. We need stability and an environment that allows us to progress, not being constantly unsettled where our manager is bigger than the Club.

Harry... look.... - unlimited transfer funds and nobody to say no to you (ok Roman will if you don't deliver after 6 months...but think of the payoff on a 4 year contract !)

Do you need me to help drive them there....please
Deal, two sets of eyes proof-reading these things is always advisable.

I wonder though, was the interest from chelsea before credible? This is just another way of trying to kybosh our end of season I think. Would Roman really want Harry? I found it hard to buy the first time around.

An educated guy like you ? Nah

Mortons fork simply allows 'arry to dig whatever hole he wants with a gardening fork (or go to Chelsea to avoid the fork debate)

If a team has that many problems .....................the best thing to do is replace the manager because he is responsible for them.
Just reading my post that you replied to. W-T-F is turnlence? I am fail. :(

Indeed. I'd hope Levy was like that anyway and not so reactive that he'd potentially not make such a move due to circumstances. If a guy who Levy believes is available and what we need here over and above Redknapp then press the button and tip old H into the tank full of sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads.

Ha, well put

I like watching football when Spurs have an exciting team, challenging for the CL league spots.

Two more games to go, then, hopefully, a huge CL league final to watch.

Let's all take a break and reconvene after that

Not sure tbh, I chose 0 years but I wouldn't be against keeping him till the end of his contract, just as long as he is fully committed to us and not himself.

depending on who we sign/keep and how he juggles prem and CL (if we get there) 5 more years (rolling 1 year contracts)

As mentioned, I believe the correct thing to do is let Harry's contract run it's course we don't need to rock the ship that was only going to be the case if Harry went to England we now have to be calm.

At Boardroom level they should be very frank with Harry and let him know our intention...the only thing, suppose Harry wins the leauge next season? then what. Maybe a role on contract.

If Harry knows all he has is one more season at Spurs, do you think he will be giving his best? Do you think you will try and sign quality players during the transfer window? I think he will be thinking about his own future.
There is only two options realistically for the good of THFC, offer him a new contract or saying goodbye to him.

0.0329 years - last game of the season. It's harsh if we get CL but I really think the timing is right for a parting of ways, for his health and for Spurs future. The only caveat I'd have is if he critical to a quality incoming or retaining core players then I think I'd let him run his contract down.

There are better out there and we're a pretty attractive proposition - we're OK re FFP rules, have a new stadium on the way, excellent training facilities & lots of top young talent. So, I'm more than happy to play the market at the end of next season. I think we'll have plenty to choose from

I didn't vote but I do worry if he leaves on bad terms he could directly or indirectly lead to players leaving. But I say this with the assumption he's very close with them.

Without wanting to sound like a Harry hater (which i'm not) - i do think that Harry gets a lot of credit when he has some of the best players in the PL at his disposal.

Walker, Modric, Bale & VdV would walk into any first team in the premier league right now. And Kaboul, Ekotto, Parker, Sandro, Friedal and Adebayor would walk into any first team below 5th place.

Then you look at the likes of King, Lennon, Gallas and Defoe and you've got an excellent set of players there too that again would get into any first team below about 7th or 8th without a problem.

So really we have a set of players, by and large that SHOULD be challenging for top 4 every season.

I'm not saying that Harry hasn't done a great job with us on the whole - he has, but anything less than challenging for 4th is a failure with our current crop, and i believe that there are quite a few managers out there that could manage that and potentially add a few signings to that list that could give us the edge to push on even further!

If he has done a great job, your words, than surely he deserves credit...its almost like it pains some to admit it. Many teams both international and domestic have really good/great players at their disposal and either play poorly or underachieve due to the managers not handling them right, England had the golden generation over the last decade and did fuck all and greece won the Euro's with journeymen, managers do play an important role and their is no gaurentee our group of players would have succeeded with any other manager its not just about having a group of really good players, that doesn't gaurentee success, and don't forget Harry put alot of this team together and got players who were underperforming under Ramos to perform.

I do acknowledge that Harry has made major cockups, but i am realistic enough to be happy with what he has done if you way it up over the time he has been here, if we return to the bad old days we will look back on these days and the way Harrys spurs play as the good old days, trust me i have supported spurs far too long not to know these are good times.;)

They certainly did. Crouch played most of the season, scored the winner at City. Bassong was a regular, as was Palacios. Defoe came in and played his part.

Keane was more influential in steadying the ship for us the season before.

If that's the calibre of players that you want at Spurs and for big money too, then you must be delighted that Harry isn't leaving us.

Yeah, Its exciting getting beat 5-1 by Chelsea,5-2 by Arsenal,5-1 by City and United putting 3 past us twice.

Harry's record.....4th,5th probably 4th.....3 wembley appearences...QF of the CL, all in just over 3 years.

Playing more often than not a style of football most prem managers voted the best......sack him now!!!:rolleyes:...

Everytime i watch the prem years on sky it reminds me of how poor we were before.

i am not Mr Harry's greatest ever fan , don't take my post the wrong way, but the unjust shit against him forces me to defend him and make me sound like an obsessed Harry lover which i am not, i just think he deserves more respect and has by hook or crook done a fine job.

Why are you arguing over facts?

They did contribute that season whether you like it or not.

Moronic post.
