The problem is at that age you don't think in terms of I'm a footballer. You think in terms of having only been able to legally drink.for a short period of your life. All you friends will go out, possibly chasing girls and you would be forced to stay at home, or even worse going out and not drinking.
Also football itself has a massive drinking culture. A great example is Rooney who has admited having problems early in his football life. While Keane and Sheringham were both known to enjoy there nights out. You are deluded if you think that drinking in football is not wide spread.
I saw them but where are they taken from?

His attitude is fine towards training and he conducts himself brilliantly in training. Does think hes big time when he was out in swansea though but what young footballer doesnt these days. I will also say he is the only one of the swansea players apart from sinclair thats willing to stop and pose for pictures when he is out. What i mean by does thinks hes big time he does use the do you know who i am line quite often
I have seen him out in swansea on numerous occasions and only once did i ever see him drinking that was the night he was arrested normally drinks J20 or water. Unless they have a week off or they are taking a lady friend for a meal.
The gambling problem well if you class a gambling problem as 6 or 7 of the swansea players going to aspires the casino in swansea once maybe twice a week to cure the boredom you forget these lads are young boys that have more money than sense they have to find a way to use/waste some of it. Maximum i have ever seen a swansea player gamble was £2000 and that was one of the better off earners of the swansea team playing roulette not Caulker.
Great to hear a counterargument to the information I received and I presume it's all a bit of hearsay but by the sounds of the above I also guess it's people blowing certain situations out of proportion!
Happy Thanks for that post and defence, and I do agree with every word. Yes, I get excited, but as you know, I'm THFC through and through and with everything, you need to asses each posting with your own eyes and views. I've no issues with people saying bollocks etc etc, I'm good looking enough and bigger enough to take that on the chin, as you can't please all the people all the time, but there you go.
Anyhow, I really want everyone to go through postings on the RO and Twitter updates (Thanks A&C and mods) and see what I have been been saying from day one... and what is bollocks and what isnt.

Bentley to Fight for his place - Played out of nut every time hes pulled on the shirt (Dont hate him because he pulls his shorts up - Look at the player now, will he be let go? I dont think so just yet unless a VERY good offer comes in, but have been enquires about him from london and abroad)
King - Said he was retiring and being given a role within club as long ago as May (I know I speak to him regularly)
Modric to Madrid/Playing up/not showing up on plane - Guess what he'll be gone last minute, but we have replacement
Mourts in - He has agreed and been quoted that he wants to come (And I still believe he will)
Defoe has choices - Still does, and to be honest, doesn't fancy them, it'll be the club that ships out not him (again, I know, I speak to him about golf mainly as one of my pals is now teaching him, I put him in touch with)
Ade in - Yes its taking forever, and I'm not involved but trust me as POTL said, its happening
Leandro in - Guess what....
Falcao - We asked, and we wanted, but aint getting (But fuck me guys, we asked!!)
Hulk - Chelsea Bound, but again, we enquired not that long ago
Lloris - Duty free etc etc, I know JJ has pooh pooh this, but I think he alerted most to the fact he may have got one wrong. I'm 100% it will. Actually I've heard his old man is in London this week for Olympics and a meeting.
Rondon - Already said that aint EVER happening ages ago.
Investment - I think as you saw back in May, JJ although not close to the investment stuff, knew I had heard and knew something, but we all grabbed at straws. As I believe this is close/closed up and part of the lockdown at the lane. All along it is ONLY investment/naming rights sponsorship. And someone actually posted last week about blacked out cars etc... everyone pooh pooh'd it... You shouldn't have. It was the new investors.
Everything I hear I pass on, what would you want? Pure filtered out nonsense? I wouldnt I know that. Actually tell a lie, in the last week I have heard Tevez and Wesley Sninder..... But trust me, I was never ever going to mention them, as I dont want to be called WUM or something. Most of you know my sources are far and wide and all at different stages in anything. I tweeted the other day, JJ is the don round these parts. Fact and fact only, with me you get a naughty child firing everything he hears.
Hold on to your hats, socks and gloves, its a rollar coaster, either hop on and enjoy it, or worry that we might get Frazer Campbell (NOTE - That ISNT HAPPENING!), It's Tottenham, its nearly the new season, and its coming to the end of the Transfer Window.... So Stop - Its Levy Time.

If you want to be a top footballer you need to be dedicated and make sacrifices, and one of them is to not go out every weekend with your friends and drink. I'm not saying footballers can't drink every once in a while, but they shouldn't been out drinking every weekend. I'm not saying it isn't wide spread, but drinking "way more than you should" is IMO a sign of bad attitude in the football world.

I SO much prefer to read any ITK in an actual post made by the actual ITK themselves, not pasted possibly-fake Twitter nonsense from that waste of bandwidth of a website.

It looks like he's picked the bits he got right and left out the rest (like GDS "impressing in gaining" when he was actually at Olympics).
With twitter it's really hard to tell what's his and what was for example posted by JJ first.
Not dissing Akqayid but still really dislike the use of twitter in all of this.

No, it didn't and was prior to them. We all know Akqayid's ITK but the twitter thing is turning it all into a bit of a mess, especially with things like him saying how he never said something on twitter and then someone else posting the quote from him about the investment.
