I don't believe you. WHY ARE YOU LYING? (too much in the other direction? I'm new at this)Only fools believe everything they read.

Fuck. You.VDV can say what he likes, but we all know that Harry had his favourites and indulged them.
I'm actually pleased that Villas Boas operates like this as it creates a more harmonious squad and a chance for everyone.
We've shown we can survive without VDV and for all the fanboy love, he wasn't a Hoddle and despite his many great moments his role often inhibited other players and inbalanced the team.
*ducks*
The articles is mostly direct quotes. You can trash VdV for saying them, should you be so minded, but not the article.

Is anybody really that worried or taking them that seriously? No. Its just a light hearted conversation.
...I suspect something was lost in translation, which makes it seem a bit blunt...
I think some are, there has already been fingers pointed at AVB.
They havent split, they are giving it another goSmacks of bullshit to me. He contradicts himself in the article and even the article writer says he thinks it's a bit disingenuous. Leaves to be near wife. They split up. He feels a bit of a twat.
If he left because AVB said he would be treated like everyone else then that would make him an even bigger prick.
Loved watching him, understand why he left but lets not be silly.
Nicely done sir. Love a good little double meaning now and then. He's Dutch. 'Blunt' is the default setting.
That was then, this is now. He has gone, we are still 3rd. Maybe AVB was right.
Bearing in mind the fee we had, his injuries this season and the problems in his private life, I feel the timing of his departure was just about right.
Please lets bear in mind that Bale has, IMO, benefitted from VDV leaving as he has now got the free role.
He was great for those two seasons though

Well that's ridiculous. I just read them and thought it was weird, but with most things that happen behind closed doors - we'll not know the exact details, so its futile to speculate really - so probably wasn't worth posting, was just curious as to how others interpreted them because it felt a little contradictory.
Oh yes but those who say AVB had nothing to do with VDV going are never going to admit they were wrong.
Who cares why or who was involved in VDV leaving. Not getting in a replacement until this Jan left a glaring hole in squad though and was the entire problem thrown up by his nibs going to hamburg. Now why don't you run along and try and pin that on AVB. You're itching to it seems.
