For me, dangerous play in this incident means above the shoulder. If you get kicked in the ribs is that really "dangerous"?

I accept by the letter of the law it probably is but I think you should just man the fuck up. Fair do's if you get a boot in the head, as concussion and things like that come into play other than that I think, in an incident like the nani one, that anything below the shoulder should be a yellow.

Anyway who cares. Good result for us yids and that's all that matters.

Btw, misfit. Good work on the Scott tennerman/SP pic. I would love to bottle some Manc tears. Would make a killing in liverpool. :)

De Jong and the world cup final a yellow then?

So Gareth Bale was seen at the game.

Cue dramatic headlines in the morning of Bale going to United for £100million shocker behind Levy's back whilst fucking AVB in the ass, rather than he just attended a game.

At least the red card will detract a fair amount of attention from that, though. Although I still wouldn't put it past the Daily Heil to have Photoshopped him into a Real shirt on their front page tomorrow.

Watched this down the pub, funniest night I have had in a while. I'm sure you can guess that the Utd fans were fuming with that red card. :ROFLMAO:

I have a great story to share now though. In that moment us football fans, whatever our allegiance, came together as one to counter the desperate cries of how the had been hard done by. One by one came varius shout outs about various decisions that individual's teams have suffered against them over the years. It was truly a beautiful moment when this happened, it shut them right up!

Oh and I thought Modric was very good when he came on, I know it was against 10 men but the way he was continuously on the move and finding the space to receive the ball was very impressive. Utd couldnt get near him. Anyone still want to say we don't miss him?

I was actually pleased for him when he scored. He went about getting a move the wrong way but we got four years out of him, I think it was fair enough service in the end.

Different incidents, plus the contact made in the WCF was much more savage. See what your saying though, as I said in my post I accept the fact that by the letter of the law the nani incident is dangerous.

Just responding to the comment that anything below the shoulders should be a yellow. Agree they were different but that wasn't really my intended point.

He was very good.

Miss him? yes. Critically? Not really, our League position tells us that. But yeah we could be some force if he was in this present side.

Maybe not "anything" below the shoulder, especially as legs can get broken etc. sorry I didn't explain myself very well that's why I said the incidents were different because the WCF incident should of defo been red which would seem to contradict my point but I suppose that's why I said "in an incident like nani's"

I'd make a good politician. Chat some vague shit and then when someone delves a bit deeper I backtrack. :)

Enjoyed watching Luka, what beautiful football he plays. He looked a class above everyone else creatively.

I can understand in real time why the ref sends him off but thought it was really harsh and spoilt the game

Point 6 nails it ;)

And if it had been Bale, in a similar situation, would that still 'nail it'?

I'm still angry about the shit decisions that cost us in the first leg against Sevilla six years ago. Shit, I'm still seething about the decisions that cost us against Benfica 50 years ago! Nani may be a ****, and Beetroot-Face may have had a multitude of dodgy decisions go in his team's favour, but that doesn't alter the fact that clueless deadbeats from Mickey Mouse leagues should be nowhere near major competitions.
