I think Bale is being very badly advised here (mainly by his agent but if reports are to be believed it beggars belief that his family are also advising this). Bale seems the kind of person who is easily swayed which in my opinion shows frailties and a weak mind and like you say a few bad games, fans will be on his case and he could destroy his career.

On the other hand he could go there and perform amazingly - he certainly has the ability.

Maybe his parents are sick of him hanging around every time he has a day off and wants some privacy and force their son to become more independent haha

Agreed.

The thing is that I'm not convinced he would be able to handle the immense amount of pressure that would be placed on him at a club like RM, especially with a £100 million price tag.

I really can't see all these new players doing the team any good.

Sure, they'll add quality but it'll take time for them to gel/grow accustomed to the football etc.

Unless it's handled like the Lloris situation and we move them in gradually?

Also, he is not a extrovert in the stlye of Ronaldo, who I guess would dominate any training ground or game, simply by his new presence. Bale is still a young kid who is malleable, which is why his parents still attend his meetings.

I can only see him going if his parents join him out there. It's not like RM would allow him frequent visits back.
