If that is true then Bale needs to man the f*ck up and realise that without old 'Arry, AVB & Spurs he would/could be plying his trade in the Championship! He needs to remember that us fans loved him & sang his name as loud as we could last season!

Ok he wants to go to Madrid but there is the right way of going about things & he needs to realise that we pay his wages, he is under Contract and until we get a deal that suits us he is still a Tottenham player!

Rant over!

Ahh and they have direct quotes from the player do they?
Well, I guess we wait to see if Spurs say anything on this or whether Marca was right for once and the transfer is due to be announced.
Of course... Well, "Sky Sources close to the player" that's just as good isn't it?

SSN really are vile. So they know for a fact he was meant to attend training today??

I think we should stand firm now and force him to stay, this has gone beyond the pale now with RM and their lackeys trying to drag our club through the mud. We set a price, if RM don't want to meet it, that's their issue.

AVB said he expects him to be at training today.

A professional footballer is furious because the chairman wants the best deal for his club and the other club involved consistently shows a complete lack of respect during the whole process. Idiot.

IF and its a big IF Bale has refused to train then I have lost alot of respect for him. I understand he wants his big Madrid move, but I thought better of him that he would have an ounce of common sense.
If I owned a shop and was selling a TV for £400, but customers kept offering me £300 paid in four installments, I would not sell. Its the same situation here. If Bale should have a grievance, it should be with Madrid for not valuing him as highly as we do.

Ridiculous stuff.

Surely if he wanted to make a stand against the club he would have just stayed in Spain and not bothered coming back.

Unless he has been badly advised by his agent since coming back to the UK

AVB said he expects him to be at training today.

This - if no fee agreed he should be at fucking training trying supporting the team ahead of he NLD.
The only exception should be if AVB said stay away as to not to disrupt the squad, but he has said he expects him there so this isn't the case

I really hope that, if he has not turned up for training, we unveil a couple of "stellar" signings and tag on a fine for Bale to the announcement. Fine him, keep fining him, make it very clear that we can present him as a dick in the press if he wants to play silly games - or he can come back, play until sold and leave with some respect and decency.

Good analogy, you could also have added that the same customer who wants it cheap with installments also owes you a whack from the TV you sold him last year!

I think frankly that a lot of us have too much of a hard-on for criticising Sky. The fact is that the whole squad is training right now and Gareth isn't. They're not sensationalising anything on this occasion.

If Gareth turns up by midday then £10 to SC.
