we are at home so we need to attack this one, we have too much of a low goal tally and it is starting to piss me off !!

Eriksens set piece delivery is one of a few positives at the moment that is why i would also keep Paulinho in the starting eleven as he has scored a few from set pieces. Bentaleb has been great but i would bench him for this one.

Loris
Walker Daws Verts Rose

Paulinho Eriksen Dembele

Lennon Ade Chadli

Any side that does not contain lennon will do.
Other players deserve to be given a chance.
I expect Tim to persevere with Lennon though.

So there is super top 3 clubs - Man City , Chelsea and Arsenal , we have to battle with Everton , Liverpool and Man United for the last spot for Champions League. So if we fail vs Everton i think all is over.So the players we SHOULDN'T use for the next match are - Soldado , Dawson and Rose.

Who do we play at left back?

"Hey, Jan - I know you said you don't fancy playing left-back again but I've checked the forums and they don't want us playing Rose, and don't even start on Naughton so I thought-

Interesting weekend :

Spurs v Everton (6th v 5th)

Liverpool v Arsenal (and yes we do want Arse to win)

ManU v Fulham.

if we do win and Arsenal also win, we are back to being 4th and really are back in the driving seat for 4th.

Too early to post a team though, lets wait till closer to the end of the week - there maybe a Spurs X! freindly in the first part of the week for example

We'll be 5th. Unless we win by 31 or so goals.

Surely we'd be 5th on goal difference ?

Please no wingers this game. We just don't have any that seem good enough.

Play 3 CMs, where we are full of quality, and have Eriksen in front of them. Soldado/Ade up top.

If Tony Pulis was our manager, which team would he pick? I ask because I think we're going to need to beat them up a bit on Sunday if we want things to go our way, it would at least help.

God help Tim cos I haven't a clue who to pick for this game.
There are that many holes in our team I just wouldn't know where to start to fill them.

Agreed. My team above resembles the same.
I am so tired of seeing Lennon in the XI.

For past 8 years - we can't find a better right winger. Every right winger who came to replace/upgrade him have been woeful too.

Either play 4-3-1-2 formation or play 3 CBs with Rose & Walker as wingbacks in a 3-5-2 till Towsend is fit.

Is this how far we've fallen, that we have to play like Stoke and switch football for rugby? :D

Personally assuming everyone is fit id go something like this............
Lloris
Walker Kaboul/Dawson Verts Rose
Sandro Paulinho Dembele
Townsend Ade Eriksen

Im not totally sure townsend is going to be fit enough but if he is id shot him straight in. I know his final ball/ choice isnt always great but he often gets the ball 30-40 yards from our goal and runs 40 yards forward getting a free kick or throw in. This is a great way to relieve pressure. Although i like Vlad i think against Everton we need a physical presence alongside vertonghen. Ideally Kaboul but it depends how fit he is and how sharp he is.
Dembele only just gets the nod ahead of Bentaleb purely because of his strength on the ball

Everyone picking Sandro but he wasn't even on the bench last game, is he fit ?

I also see TS doesn't like playing the traditional DM which he is one of the best

We need some drive and determination in the middle of the park. Bentaleb and dembele are doing okish, but neither of them are giving us any real guts or power

Sandro can give us some grit in there at least, hopefully a few flying tackles will pump the team up to show some fight

If he's not fit by now I am disgusted, he played those friendlies at least two weeks ago? UNLEASH THE BEAST FFS

lloris
walker daws verts rose
sandro
paulinho eriksen
chadli soldado ade

Townsend can then come on for soldado or chadli and play as an orthodox left wing forward, if he's fit

Fucking joke our injuries/medical team, why do our players take twice as long to recover than every other club in the world?

Lennon and Siggy must not start, both are in shocking form
