I don't like Liverpool as a club but the football they have played this season has been brilliant and for that they deserve to win the league.

If by proper way you mean not spending big, they have spent pretty big since 2010/11

He surely means by being proficient in diving and cheating? If for some strange twist of fate they don't win it this year I'll be amazed but not that amazed that I won't laugh myself silly. It's a wafer of hate between them, the chavs and the scum.

The most annoying chant EVER, and I think a lot of other fans would agree with me, is your slow version of the Southampton Saints marching on song.

Why sing it slow? It sounds weird and doesn't suit the subject of the song and the message the chant is trying to get across. It sounds like a consolatory chant that would be sang after you've just missed out in a Cup Final on penalties and everyones gutted.

Lol. You do know that 'Oh when the saints go marching in' was a song before Southampton adopted it right? They probably used it first, yeah, but equally our fans do our own version of the original. Oh when the Spurs is one of the most unique songs because it's slow and has a build up to it rather than the customary up tempo chants every club has. I disagree with the song Thmsdonaghy said though, I think that's quite catchy. The most annoying chant / song is the YNWA song. It's been 50 years, getting a bit old chaps.

Don't like Mourinho but I'd love him to destroy the scousers hopes of the title by winning at Anfield in a couple weeks. Then City to win their remaining 6 games and win the league.

If you think that Liverpool fans are more unlikeable than Chelsea fans, especially after todays events, you're unfathomable to me.

Far too many dives for me. When Rose dived at the weekend he was slated on here. Scousers have no shame, they will never ever criticise Suarez for diving, and the whole way they handled the Suarez racism episode they don't ever deserve to win the league again.

You "don't believe we will win it"? Hmm... I think you just don't want to jinx it, that's all...

It's a shame cos I actually like Suarez the footballer and also Coutinho. I mean the players cannot be faulted, they put in their 101% throughout the run in and for them to win the league is unquestionable. You can see their desire and belly fire undoubtedly. Liverpool players did really step up a significant notch this year and produced one of the best football we've seen in a while. It helps too that the players seem humble and actually nice folks who don't go around taking stadium selfies or resort to twitter mockery etc etc.

It's only a shame because the fans are not living up to it.

The bottomline is, if and when Liverpool wins the title, fans of other clubs will not deprive liverpool fans the right to wank on the streets for weeks, even months, even years. But don't you cross the line and start bukkake-ing into our gardens.

*And mine is an Asian perspective. It speaks volumes if this disdain is an Iternational one.

Well I have to say that Liverpool deserves to win the league for the football they played and considering they haven't spent ridiculous amounts in one go to do it. Rodgers easily coach of the year.

Should give hope to everyone if they win it, no sugar daddy spending ridiculous amounts trying to snap up every top player, no new stadium, shows it can still be done .

My list of hate goes:

Arsenal
Liverpool
Chelsea
West Ham
City
United

The rest

Liverpool should never have won yesterday - City should have had 2 penalties, Suarez should have been sent off and Liverpool's first goal shouldn't have counted.

Yeah, everyone loves Southampton

Really?

Do you not remember when their chairman claimed Southampton were a bigger club than us, leading to us calling them 'South Coast Big Club' and renaming their chairman as Rupert Lowe-Self-Esteem?

All because we went after (and got) their manager and star defender (ultimately, to very little effect).

Still, at least we won't be trying that again, will we?

Can't believe how jammy Liverpool have been in this run in... 3 penalties at Old Trafford? The amount of diving gotten away with from Sturridge and Suarez... how Suarez was allowed to stay on the pitch yesterday was laughable. But it's pretty much theirs to lose now isn't it... and unless that luck runs out I can't see them doing that.

What I mean is they don't have to rely on a sugardad, and have earned it playing good footie.

Umm... John Henry? Owns a pretty huge media and sporting US empire? Pretty sure that's a sugardaddy who's spent fuck tons of money on players and managers this last 5 years.
