Been told by a mate of mine that supports millwall (the only one I have) that they have tried to bring fredericks back for the season only to be told a firm no as he's gonna be a first team squad player.
Assume that means naughton is off.
Pinch of salt and all that

Big fan of this news personally. Naughton's a decent squad player for certain, but at this age his value only declines if he isn't seeing first choice minutes. Would like to see those funds reinvested elsewhere. He also made comments not long ago that would seem to indicate he too would be open to hearing offers this summer.

i seem to remember it being asked what percentage we are getting from the caulker transfter, heres jaspers view:
Whatever is coming to us is what is owed. Already accounted so won't go towards transfer kitty.Cardiff still owe us

If its a sell on clause on Caulker, then its a % of the excess of the amount over what Cardiff paid us. I recall circa £10m for Caulker but QPR have apparantl;y paid lrss, so we get no extra cash from Cardiff's sale of QPR.

Ah I feel real sad for you now, knowing you've only got 1 friend.

thanks for the info though, I'd be happy enough with that

Do you honestly see him being a part of this club anymore? I can't.

i don't see why not, should it not be a clean slate under a new manager? the same was said about ade yet he's come through it and is still our best striker. benny had five great years in a team fighting in/for the cl, he and avb didn't get on for whatever reason and eventually andre got his way and packed him off on loan, he would've done the same with ade given the chance. i watched him for cameroon and he was still looked his old self to me, he's still motivated to play for spurs.

So back to itk. Saw this from Sunday:

Been told Davies will be announced today or tomorrow, Siggy going the other way, but seperate deals so might be a day or two later. Rose is not a happy bunny and if the right bid comes in he will be off. Poch has told a number of the youngsters that they will get game time this season and a chance to prove themselves. Immediate expectations have been lowered but 4th is still the target and long term expectations are high.

What do we think about that?

Myxomatosis apparently.

Makes Adebayor's malaria excuse seem a bit pathetic.

Throwing out the quenelle controversy and the fact that it wasn't just AVB that didn't want him around...he is still on the downhill.....he was shit for us in the second half 2 years ago, last season in the Championship he was inconsistent with QPR ranging from average to utter shit to the point that Harry (one of his biggest supporters) said that he isn't the same player that once was....

I really like Benny, but he just isn't the same player that he used to be....we are much better off flogging him off to anyone who will take him at this point.

Davies is going to be the LB and we would be smart to hold onto Rose (even is he is a pouting shit) since we all know at some point this season we will have a rash of injuries that decimate the back line and i would rather avoid putting Jan outside if we can avoid it.

Why do people keep going on about ekotto coming, he ain't coming back cos he's lazy, unmotivated, shit positional sense and a fucking liability rather keep rose than have that sack of shit back.

as he was being taken in and out of the team after a six month injury lay off, just look at sandro for evidence of how that's not going to get a player back to their previous form. as for qpr, i rarely watched them but i did frequent their forum and they all seemed perfectly happy with him until he had a mare in a game late on in the season, he missed the remainder of their games through injury and unfortunately that's all anyone now remembers him by. i'm not sure he was particularly motivated to mooch it about in the championship and probably spent just as much time back at the lane watching spurs than he did playing at loftus road. i think it's foolish to write him off as finished.

ITK was more about Fredericks wasn't it...and the assumption that Naughton might be moved on.

A&C sees pages and pages of Ekotto debate......just saying.
